Michael Bourn with a lead off home run.
Derek Lowe may be pitching, but any time Bourn hits a home run...it's gonna be a good day.

A lot of fans want this as well, and I wouldn't be mad. There's a bunch of options I would like, but as a Cub fan, until someone is hired I'm confident it will be a hilariously awful hire.

Who needs Michael Bourn when you have Carlos Beltran?

Constanza walk, followed by a Mccann homer, out of the three hole. I'm liking Jose in that 2 hole, but of course, we have that Prado guy as well, who just has the night off.

Hawk Harrelson>Bert Blyleven as an announcer. Just makes an unwatchable season that much worse.

Hawk may be the biggest homer of all time.

Billy Beane is a minority owner of the A's. I don't see the Cubs matching that.

Bert has literally never said anything negative about the Twins and nothing interesting in general. If I see one more hanging curveball hit 800 feet called "not a bad pitch" I'm going to lose it.
I've met him and he's a really nice guy but he's just terrible. Tom Kelly filled in for him for a week and it was heaven.

You just described Ron Santo.

Exactly. Beane is in Oakland forever most likely.

Inge would be hitting clean up right now in the Giants lineup. It's that bad.

Chipper says he's coming back next year. He's looked like the player of old in the last two games at the bat, he just scares the hell out of me at 3B sometimes.
Kind of sucks for Constanza, if he turns out to be pretty legit. We would potentially have an OF opening, if Chipper left and Prado took over 3rd. But doesnt look like that's in the cards yet.

This year, Hawk hasn't been bitching about umpires as much. Then again, the White Sox have been really boring this year, every game feels like the same thing.
As for the Cubs GM, we'll have to see how badly Reinsdorf wants to hang on to Rick Hahn by promoting him to GM and Kenny Williams to team President. Hahn is the best finance guy the Sox have, he is always well prepared and the motivation is there, since he grew up a Cubs fan. Josh Byrnes could also do a good job building up the farm system. I would think Terry Ryan would be the best guy for the job though.

I don't think you realize what you're saying still. I know the Giants have injuries, but that's still not funny to joke about, haha.

It's barely a month. He's not legit.

I never said he was yet...ugh. He's still going to get plenty of playing time from now until the end of the season.
The Saber guys are really not loving Constanza right now. lol.
It's obviously going to come down, but to what point is unknown. If the guy can match what he did at the bat in AAA, I'd welcome a player like that in Left Field, with the speed as an added bonus.

At best he's an average bat. If he played CF he could start but besides that there is no where else that would make sense for him.
