Angels should refund people after that lineup they put out tonight. As if I didn't hate them enough after the Verlander fiasco earlier in the season.

I like Sano more anyway. 40 HR power.

For real. Nothing like knowing you have no chance to win, even before the game starts. At least we have Huddy tomorrow.
I never thought I'd see myself rooting for that scumbag, Brett Myers.

D'Backs just scored 6 in the bottom of the 10th to win
Walk off Grandslam by the Tatman
Parker 5.2 4 H 1 K 1 BB in his debut looked decent
if D'Backs and Brewers tie is it a 1 game playoff or are there some tiebreakers?

I never thought our 162nd game would matter once so ever.

So Reyes just got a bunt single to raise his average to .337. They immediately took him out of the game which is such BS considering this might be his last game ever as a Met. I can't watch since I'm not at home but I'm sure the Mets fans weren't happy.
Braun needs to go 3-4 to win the batting race now I believe.

I read Jimmy Rollins wants a 5 year deal. Uh, good luck with that.

I think it's just head to head records. They only use a playoff to determine a playoff spot, not seeding. I guess the Brewers want home field pretty badly if they're starting Grienke today.

Yay, Adam Dunn doesn't get enough plate appearances to qualify for the lowest batting average record.

Funny you mention that, I was recently talking to some Giants fans who really want him. I'm not sure why Rollins would want to leave the Phillies though. That pitching staff probably makes them contenders for the next few years.

Strongly believe ALCS will be Detroit and Texas. NLCS Philadelphia and Milwaukee, but we don't know what the matchups will be there with the St.Louis/Atlanta wildcard spot creating uncertainity as to who Philly plays in round one.

nice we lead that 4-3 so a win tonight with a Brewers loss gets us out of the Phillies in the 1st

Cardinals and Braves both have their aces going. I could see both teams winning and having a one game playoff at Busch.
That would be fun, seeing Albert Pujols potentially playing his last home game at Busch, for a playoff spot.

Derek Jeter SS
Curtis Granderson CF
Mark Teixeira 1B
Robinson Cano DH
Alex Rodriguez 3B
Nick Swisher RF
Andruw Jones LF
Jesus Montero C
Eduardo Nunez 2B
Yankees somewhat respecting the situation with both teams with this lineup. We'll see how long some of those guys stay in tonight though.

Better than the absolute garbage the Angels have thrown out this series against the Rangers. Starting Garrett Richards today, Alexi Amarista batting cleanup yesterday...

Dellin Betances SP, left that out.
Although, yes, I am impressed and shocked the Yankees are starting all those guys. Good for them.

At least he's a decent prospect. No one who is going to start a postseason game was gonna pitch tonight. I'm not even sure whose normal turn it was. Hughes? They put him back to the bullpen already to get him ready for the postseason.
