Nelson Cruz was playing MLB 2k11 tonight. After he left, Pujols picked up the controller.

Looks like Theo is out here. I really wish the guy the best and will be rooting for him and the Cubs for sure....but it might be time to move on. Interesting to see what the compensation will be. Word is it could be something fairly substantial.

I think he is kinda ****** for awhile, 18 mil for Soriano and Z, 14 for Dempster, 6.5 for Byrd, 7 for Marmol.
Can save 14 mil by buying out Ramirez though, I assume that's a given right?

I would love to see both Theo and Francona go to the Cubs and win a WS.

Yeah, for not having much booth experience, Tito was awesome. Also, yay Kinsler.

Now we've got a series.
Hopefully Ricky P is in game 1 relief appearance mode and dominant tomorrow. Haha

Agreed. Zambrano is off the books after 2012, so only one more year of him. As is Dempster. A lot of money is coming off the books. The only one they are really stuck with is Soriano.

It'll be interesting to see how good of a piece the Cubs will give up for him. The Red Sox want something of value in return.

Actually I lied. It's being reported that the Cubs and Epstein have agreed on a 5 year $15 million deal and that the Sox aren't going to hold up the deal. They might just be asking for cash in return.

I'm hearing prospects, early word is that it won't e a player from the Cubs MLB roster. You never know though.
On a sad note, it seems like it's impossible for anyone to leave the Red Sox without having their names dragged through the mud(some people earned it though, like Manny). The Globe today implied Terry Francona has a problem with prescription medication. Really don't think he earned that. Get on Lackey, Beckett, and Lester for eating fried chicken, drinking beer, and playing video games simultaneously during games...but implying the manager(or former) has a drug problem based on little to no information just isn't cool.

He kind of deserves it. He's pretty much a huge d-bag.
