My god do the Pirates suck. I know it's two weeks into the season, but Jesus they cannot hit.
Borat, why does Bouchy hate Brandon Belt? Why does Zito throw so slow now?
Also, since Bouchy and Saben hate Belt, we will trade you Hanrahan for him.

He got that paycheck and he decided he would just kick back and live the dream.

Umm no, that's not what happened. He was declining before he got the contract (Sabean is really that stupid, yes) and just hit a rut then. He's not the kind of guy that kicks back and does that, he just got worse over a period of time.

You guys want definitive proof of why the Detroit Tigers can't win the World Series?

I call that the Ryan Raburn effect. Pitchers gear up for all of our other hitters, but when they see Raburn or Inge then they get a huge boost of confidence and step up their pitching effort for the easier out. Its reverse of what should happen, call it reverse protection. So, we'll say that Leyland is just protecting everyone else with this call.

So glad Shoppach's back with the Red Sox. That ended up being a horrible trade considering the issues the team ended up having with the catcher position over the years. Never liked that trade and never will.

Welp, there's that KC starting pitching! Finally reared its head after 6 games of "WTF is this?" and their bats are still cold. And they've got Ned Yost batting ******* Jerod Dyson lead-off in the first two games of the series with their regular lead-off hitter in the 5-hole (WTF?) when they have two solid bats on the bench and really only should have Dyson out there to pinch run or be a late defensive sub...
I don't mind leading off someone else because Gordon should be batting #2 anyway, but Jesus H. Christ, Ned! That **** was dumb.
Ideal (healthy) line-up for the Royals is:
1. Cain
2. Gordon
3. Hosmer
4. Butler
5. Moustakas
6. Francouer
7. <catcher>
8. Getz
9. Escobar
This keeps the bases from getting clogged by a slow player, protects Moose - who is a slow starter - and creates lots of run-producing opportunities for the 2-6 hitters.
With Cain out, Bourgeois or Maier should lead-off so everyone can stay in their slotted spot. This **** is all no-brainer material for anyone but apparently Ned Yost this year.

Hafner has had a nice day. It's nice to dream about the possibility of him playing half of a season.

Someone broke Miguel Cabrera. He just went hitless for the series against the White Sox. Average dipped below .250.
His defense is still not a problem at all.
