I love how Denard is leading the NCAA in rushing despite only play one quarter against Bowling Green.

Yeah, well if he wouldn't have gotten hurt in that game he would have had ridiculous stats.

We will see if 16 is for real if he can sustain these numbers meeting the teeth of the schedule. MSU, Iowa, PSU, Wisconsin OSU all ranked, all solid D's, all awaiting the Denard Wolverines. No doubt the kid is electric ... he will even break several plays on MSU Saturday. But imo eventually 1 on 11 is going to "catch" up to him no matter how fast he is. There are some bad donkey's awaiting on those Big ten foes defenses (Clayborn,Heyward,Jones,Kerrigan) ;o) Giving him credit against the "warm-up" acts is fine, but I would hold judgment on accolades, awards etc until he faces the main events and has done it for at least 1 full season. If you are a true blue you respect that point.

Oh yeah & not that he needs defending, but Greg Jones is an All Big Ten, All American, All Everything LB (proven commodity over time) Denard has played 4 games (Umass does not count) & BG he was out 3 quarters. Time will tell.

Oh right, so instead of 200 yards rushing weekly, Denard only gets 150.

haha

FYI, Dee Hart will be announcing where he is going this Friday, it is between Michigan and Alabama. Also, keep in mind that he is graduating early so that means he will also enroll early. Signs are pointing to Michigan right now after what Dee wrote on Ricardo Miller's Facebook wall.

Also, I forgot to mention, if Dee does commit to Michigan. Him and Denard will be like Pat White and Steve Slaton 2.0.

Now, if we can just get Dee Hart to convince Haha to de-commit for Bama and come to Michigan. Hey I can dream right?

I wouldn't mind picking up Rawls to go with Hart if he can get his grades up. I realize we obviously need defensive help more than offense, but that would be a hell of a RB tandem to pick up.

That would be awesome if we got Thomas Rawls also. Rawls broke Mark Ingram's single game record not to long age either. But, if we are able to steal HaHa and it would be HUGE if Trey DePreist started to reconsider us again since he is a Michigan fan, but like a lot of recruits he was scared off by our losing.

I'm pretty sure Rawls also broke Ingram's career rushing record as well. I really hope he can get his grades up.

I doubt HaHa or DePriest come to Michigan, but it would be great. Ray Drew would be a great get as well.

All that said, all will probably be for not if Michigan goes into a tail spin again this year. I think even Dee Hart would decommit if that happened. This game is huge.

If we can get past Michigan State and Iowa, then I think recruits will start pouring in. Because after Iowa we face Penn State, which is completely winnable btw. Then we face Illinois and Purdue which is two games we probably will win. Personally I hope we run up the score on Purdue after the crap Danny Hope pulled last year after Purdue beat us.

Like I said, I'm sad I'm going to have to watch the rest of this season before Rodriguez gets fired. This guy beats up on OOC teams, and his offense gets completely shut down once he gets into the Big 10. **** this guy, he's not even an offensive guru, which was supposed to be what he was best at.

I switched off the game 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter. I could not take that crap anymore. Jim Harbaugh is looking pretty good right now to me. I don't want anybody else except Harbaugh if RichRod gets fired.

This is already reminding me of last year. Put up a bunch of points against chumps, beat what people thought might be a good ND team that turns out to be crap, and then go down in conference. Unless MSU actually turns out to be a great team, I can't see us beating Iowa, Wisconsin, or Ohio State at least. Illinois actually looked good the last couple weeks, so that could be another loss. The only games I see us possibly winning are Penn State and only because they're terrible, and Purdue because half their best starters are hurt. Seriously, if RR ends up with another losing record in conference, he should be gone, regardless of what the overall record is.

Well, after I settled down since yesterday, I still think it is possible for us to go 8-4. The teams we have to beat would be Illinois, Purdue, and Penn St. After Watching Penn St. face Illinois yesterday, Penn St. was HORRIBLE. They couldn't get anything going against Illinois, so hopefully they won't be able to put alot of points up against Michigan. Purdue is missing their starting QB and have other injuries that will affect them, so they are very beatable. Illinois I'm not so sure about. Looking at their games they look like they are playing pretty hard against big ten teams. So I have no idea how this one turns out, but we could squeak out with a win. Now about the MSU game yesterday. The biggest thing that killed use was not being able to score in the redzone. Denard threw two INTs which should have easily been TDs. For some reason when Denard was going to pass the ball, he threw it when he could have use his speed and try to run the ball into the endzone. It just seems like he was following the play TOO MUCH. He has to try and be a playmaker so when he sees an opening in the defense, he needs to take it. I noticed the same thing with Tate last year. He just tried to stick to the play too much and ended up making a turnover. Also Tony Gibson needs to be fired. I said that last year and now I am saying it again. I get what he is trying to do with our corners by keeping them off the receivers by 10 yards. But guess what, if we play our corners in press coverage against a team and our corners do at least a decent job at jamming receivers at the line, then that gives our d-line another 2-3 seconds to get to the QB. That may not sound like alot but those couple seconds are critical in football. Also, if they do press coverage, then they should use a 4-3 so that we have four d-linemen trying to get to the QB. Our corners perform at their best when using press coverage. Cullen Christian is a perfect example of that. Cullen was scored on yesterday on a long pass to a receiver he was covering that simply out beat him, not by much but enough to score a TD. If Cullen would have been playing press coverage that TD would have never happened. Thats what made Cullen Christian so good in HS, was him having the ability to jam his receiver at the line. But if Tony Gibson is going to keep them back there, then he is not even trying to tap into their potential.

Nothing really needs to be said, other than that Rod needs to go. You can't lose three straight to Michigan State, including two at home. That's unacceptable. When we inevitably lose to Ohio State this year he will be 0-6 against our two biggest rivals. I think we'll still win about eight games this year, but that's not enough. Can't go 0-6 against the Spartans and Buckeyes. Rod better be coaching for job against Ohio State. If he can somehow beat the Buckeyes then he can see year four, if he loses like I expect then he needs to go no matter our record.

Heres a fun fact, Michigan State has more wins in the Big House than Rich Rod does against BIG TEN opponents. LOL
