It's fine BF. I don't mean to cause waves. Just stated what I thought, but it's all good. The game play is still lots of fun.

Time out....
So why the change in pitching limit settings now after the draft is over?
I took this into account while I drafted. It's why I didn't invest so much into relievers. Me and anybody else who took this into account are now greatly affected by this change.
Think I would've really came out of the draft with Bobby Jenks and Michael Wuertz as my RPs if this setting was in place?
Funny thing is... the change was made without even an announcement or input from the group. Lemme guess why? Because you got Jon Rauch now and you feel better about your RPs? LOL. Classic.

You think I changed it because I picked up one reliever? Really? I think only you would think that, and it's pretty obvious why.
I'll be glad to raise the innings limits. I thought IP made more sense than games started. Add up the possible amount of innings you could realistically get from your entire pitching staff, I'll add 100, and that can be our new limit.
Xio is correct that there needs to be a reasonable cap so that people aren't constantly picking up starters and dropping them, but I would be very glad to raise the limit to whatever is necessary so that you can get every optimal inning out of every pitcher you have.

Also, it's been 3 hours since tj was on the clock, and you've been here the entire time. Think you could pick?

That won't change the crappiness of my RPs. I put together a draft strategy based off the settings at the time. This change completely changes the way I would've done things. Your justification is fine. I agree with it. But you didn't set that at the beginning, nor did you change it prior to the draft. So things are different. Don't let me hold you back from doing what you want to do. I'll just bow out quietly. Enjoy your season. Please delete me from the league. Thanks.

With the limit on IP, you need quality RPs. They prevent you from reaching the IP limit quickly.
You didn't have an IP limit to begin with. You had a Games Started limit. That meant that I could go bonkers on SPs and ignore RPs for the most part, in order to get my points. There was no IP limit to consider, and that always lessens the value of RPs. As long as I kept in mind that I needed to stay under the games started limit, I could get my points using SPs and didn't have to rely so much on RPs getting me my points.
What's the purpose of the IP limit? Isn't it to limit the amount of points you can get through Starting Pitchers?

Putting it at games started I think makes RP more valuable because they don't count at all against the limit. That's fine though, if you feel like it drastically alters your original plans it's not fair for me to change things in the middle of the game without unanimous approval. I didn't think the change would matter to anyone. I'll change it back, please make your pick.

Safe to say, I missed that loophole. Interesting observation.
But yeah, if things stay the way they were at design, then I have no reason to jump ship.
Must say, the change without notice was a very Xio-like move. I never liked commish changes that were made with out league discussion.

Xio is far too good at fantasy sports for me to be like him.

I think next year Xio and D should be joint owners.

What's the process of wanting to pick up a minor leaguer in the future?
