So Torrey and Hankerson had officials 4.43s. I think Cobb and Jernigan were official 4.46s.

Reports have come out of four players that have interviewed or will interview with the Atlanta Falcons at the 2011 NFL Combine: Texas Longhorns DE Sam Acho, Miami Hurricanes DL Allen Bailey, West Virginia Mountaineers RB Noel Devine, and Fort Valley State WR Ricardo Lockette

Interesting with Devine. He's become that team captain type, but we all know about his checkered past. I'm definitely interested him again now that's he's at 180. At least we aren't completely writing him off.

Devine was too small and performed terrible at the senior bowl. I think we could get him in the 4-5 rounds now. I like the fact that we are showing interest.

I wonder how far we'd move up if Julio slips at all, that dude is a breast. I think him oppo Roddy would just be dominant.

He was dealing with some issues there which is why he weighed in 20 pounds heavier at the Combine. So he most likely wasn't at full strength.

I'm not in love with the guy, but it's nice to know where aren't at least completely writing off potential impact players because they aren't squeaky clean.

And Julio was top 15 before today. There's zero chance he slips after today.

Julio might have snuck himself into top 10 with that.

None of the 2nd tier WRs has really elevated himself so far, and I think that means we can wait until the 2nd round to take a WR and still get someone from that 2nd tier, maybe even Torrey Smith.

I'd still be looking DE or OT in the first, with WR in the second, DE/OL in the third, and RB in the 4th.

I'm still in favor of a move up. We need a playmaker, we don't need a lot more depth. Go out and get the guy who is going to make a difference.

That's what I hope happens. I'd like to see heyword in the first and then baldwin in the second. I also like hankerson but it sounds like the ravens really like him.

Too many quality guys in the draft, there's no sense in trading up for one.

Who do you think is going to be there? I'd rather sacrifice some picks than draft Bailey, Clayborne, Sherrod, 2nd tier WRs, etc.

With their offense they don't need a stud wr like Green or jones so they can wait until the 2nd and get a guy like baldwin or torrey smith not to mention that kerry meirer will be back so the need for a wr may not be as great as people think. Throughout the years plenty of guys who were supposed to be "2nd tier guys" going into the draft turned out to be productive.

As far a dline help guys like heyward, kerrigan, and ocho will be available in the bottom of the first.

Ocho is not a first round pick, Heyward is a 3-4 DE/ UT, and Kerrigan will be gone IMO.

Kerrigan works if we aren't getting destroyed to move up into the middle of the first. I'd be willing to part with the pieces to get Quinn/Green and maybe even Jones. (I realize this will never happen.)

With our offense we don't need another stud? What? Any offense would benefit from adding another big time WR. See New York Jets. Just because we run unlike some other teams in the league, doesn't mean it isn't a need. Gonzo is pretty far from what he was, and you can only do so much with Roddy being double covered.

Torrey Smith is raw, and probably wouldn't contribute this upcoming season. Baldwin would never be a Falcon.

Kerrigan's probably gone, Heywards a 34 DE, and Acho is a 2nd rounder.

I never said he was a first rounder, I named him as someone good atlanta could get without having to trade up for a de.

Just because a player is a stud doesn't mean they should be traded up for. If they don't fit your offense they don't fit your offense. If luck had decided to come out should atlanta trade up to get him? Of course not.

Who doesn't need a stud like Aj Green? Can't say we couldn't use him. Wouldn't he be a much better option to throw to than Baldwin?

I don't think you can look at Kerry Meirer and say the WR position isn't as great of a need. Honestly he was never a much of a player to begin with and now he's coming back from a major injury and hasn't played a game yet in the league.

If Leonard Hankerson falls to us in the 2nd he is an absolute steal. Most productive Miami Hurricanes receiver of all time, and that's saying something from a program that has produced people like Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, and Michael Irvin. He proved some people run by running that 4.43 at the combine. Some people just know how to play football, Hankerson is one of them.

Also, I know people here are really against Noel Devine *cough* bosanac *cough*, but we did meet with him at the combine. Devine didn't run at the combine after injuring his ankle, but did prove his work ethic with the 24 reps at the bench press. We all know about his past, but I do honestly believe he has changed, and pretty much have zero worries about him screwing up our locker room. Like ATL said, he has proved weight since the combine and I believe he would be perfect in the role we need as a change of pace back, Either Jacquizz Rodgers or Devine and I would be estatic.

Am I crazy to say I wouldn't be terribly upset if we got Hank with our first pick? I'd take him over some of our other likely options for sure, and he is not making it to us in round 2. Dude can play, it's been proven he can run, and is really ******* perfect to play the Michael Jenkins role. Same basic player (long strides, build up speed, etc.) but Hank just happens to be good and actually plays to his size.

This is why I hate where we are at and why I am in complete favor of moving up or down. There's probably not going to be the type we are looking for at 27, and there's going to be a run of Jernigan/Torrey Smith/Titus/Cobb/Hank in the early to mid 2nd, and we're going to be ****** round 2.

I'd take Devine. I'm not an overly huge fan, but I'd take him. I'm still man crushing on Murray, but he's not making it to our 3rd rounder now (earliest I think we take a HB). And I like Quizz, and could give a **** about his size, but 4.65? A lot less attractive. Todman, Vereen, and Locke might be work.

I'm completely forgetting Justin Houston though. He looks like a great fit at this point.
