It's more of the same. So the new feature is basically ask madden, but with audio so it sounds like a coordinator is calling in the plays? Way to be ground breaking EA.

Yup, definitely not getting it. Especially since the rosters are pretty much identical to the last roster update from 2010's game.
I'll probably just buy it used for, like, $20 just so EA doesn't get any money. I don't do any online play in Madden anyways, so it's not like that stupid code will matter for me.

here is what I do: wait a week after the release, then go on Amazon and buy from a vendor and it'll be like $10-$15 cheaper than MSRP.

NCAA in my mind is superior. Just my thoughts. I'll end up getting MAdden because i want to do online teamplay, but i see NCAA being my game of preference.

They still make it for the PS2 which i think is a way better version, so i usually just grab that one. Cheaper too.
I have a ps3, i just hate playing madden on it. They just havent gotten it quite right yet.

When it comes to actual game play I feel PS2 is still the best.

I just played the demo....Gus Johnson makes this game instantly better. Other than that, it's basically last years game with some minor new features.

Not hating, i will get it. I do believe NCAA is superior though, and i ultimately see myself playing it more than MAdden.

Do they still have Training Camp in the PS2 version? That's what I miss the most from the past generation maddens. Well that and the enjoyment playing the actual game.

I used to love Madden but your basically paying $60 for a roster update, thats why everyone hates it. EA has no competition because they bought that license or whatever. They add new features that are pointless to make it look like something changed. The next year they aren't in the game or no longer used. Gameflow is ask madden except a you can hear the coach call in the plays. Its not even a new feature like they claim. They changed the kicking meter which didnt need to be and frankly its worse IMO. They are good at adding more and more product advertisements all over though. Basically the point is the minimum improvements they made are pointless. Getting a real announcer was the only good change.

I saw that coming from ten miles away. I don't know why you'd want the computer to call the plays, especially given their history of calling plays that don't work. Here's a hint EA: If you want people to use more of your playbook, it might be a good idea to make the vast majority of your playbook contain plays that are effective, instead of the 3-4 plays that have potential of positive yardage in a single formation.

Lol, seriously. The CPU playcalling AI is already stupid as it is. I mean seriously, CPU play calling has been one of the biggest gripes in Madden since it's inception. There's just way too many variables to take into account to ever be able to program something like that successfully.
They know this already. So why the **** would they make it a huge, new feature?
I hate the Madden developers so much.

Some company needs to come out and develop a new football arcade type game. NFL Blitz is still my favorite football game.

Why would they change the FG kick?
Auto sprint = lame, as is game speed. I was wondering why the were running super slow at first.
This game reminds me of NFL Fever for some reason, at least recycle your own franchise games. They run stupid as **** as well.
Yeah NCAA much better.
