Cowboys Nation: Any guys who were not on your initial lists who have really grabbed your attention in the last month?

Wes Bunting: Some guys have played better than I thought they would but, hang on, here's a name for you, Josh Thomas, cornerback, University of Buffalo. He just plays at a different speed from people at his level. I watched him against Connecticut, he threw his body around. He could turn and run, he was fluid. He's raw in some areas as all small school guys are, but he's shown enough athletically, to make you say, "wow, this kid can play." I think he can play in a nickel situation. He's one guy who's really opened my eyes this year.

A lot of people used to have him tagged in that 2/3 range...but his size has pigeon holed him into that nickel back only type role. Buster Skrine is pretty much in that same class...I wonder if we really did have him on our board. hmm. But yeah, hopefully we found a player in Thomas.

I'll guess that we dont go safety. We have a bunch of young guys and are bound to sign at least one S in FA. That is a 100% a certainty. Even if Huff is too pricy or decides to go elsewhere...we're def. getting someone.
