I expect Worthington, Burnett, Cromartie-Smith, and Grisham to make the PS.

Bears release Jarron Gilbert and Freddie Barnes. And Philly cut Boo Robinson. I would be interested in all three.

Surprises for me were Urbik and Burnett. If they and Worthington are on the practice squad then I get it. Thats a third and a fifth from last year that got cut. I know we haven't been great in the later rounds, but you have to draft better than that. Also don't remember who asked, but Michael Robinson was cut earlier. I think it was a numbers and money issue for the 49ers.

Actual its worse now that I look at it. From last years draft we have cut a third, two fifths, a sixth and a seventh. While keeping a first, two thirds, and a seventh. Thats a really bad draft unless these cuts turn into PS and eventually roster players.

There are quite a few talented guys out there that I would LOVE to sign. Jay Alford, Michael Robinson, Brandon McDonald, Jarron Gilbert. Donnovan Warren to sign to PS would be nice. Man, lots of talent out there. I hope we take advantage.

this one looks sooo much better.

i honestly thought the day after the draft that the 2009 draft was easily the worst class ive ever seen. the only player i have any faith in thats left is wallace because ive grown to love him, but there was even a handful of WRs i would have taken over him at the time.

He was working out with Steelers player before the draft, I'd also try him out.

I like Rolle (mainly because I'm a Florida State fan) but I don't really want him. He was a big time recruit that never really lived up to expectations. He is a sure tackler, but doesn't have a lot of speed or explosiveness. Also he's not exactly a ball hawk. Could be good on special teams, but thats about it. And K Train I have to give it to you that you were right about Urbik all along.

I don't think Urbik sucks, but I am very disapointed that he busted hard. Maybe he's a late bloomer, but I don't know. I would still take him over Legursky.

rolle was living off his name for a football career. he should put his rhodes scholar brain to use. great guy, not exactly worth a roster spot.

and yes, the 2009 draft sucked hard...especially urbik and summers. them being gone makes me so happy. i like legs and hills so im ok with them being backups

I thought Worthington and Harris were gonna be our "youth" on the DL? Hood has to pan out now and what we do about NT?
Do you guys see any good NT cuts out there?
And did we ever bring in J. Gilbert for a visit that year?

I'm pretty sure Gilbert was a visit.

And at NT we do the same thing we've done for years, carry only Hampton and Hoke. The suprise on the DL is that we're carrying 4 DEs. We almost always carry 5, but one was inactive everygame anyway.

I actually think this is the one of the deepest Steelers teams we've seen in years. Alot of young talent to get excited about at alot of positions. Just looks like OL starters, DL depth, and obviously QB to start the season are weaknesses.

I actually like the group of Mendenhall, Moore, and Redman. I like our group of receivers, and our defensive backs, and linebackers alot. Lots of young potential in those groups.

This has potential to be the best Steelers draft class in a long time.

Also, I'm dissapointed to see Urbik cut, but theres no way they could justify keeping him over the guys we kept. The Bills got him, but several other teams put in claims. He wasn't a horrible player, but I'd much rather have the guys we kept. as OL depth. Hills, Legursky, Scott, and Foster have all shown much more then Urbik.
