I saw Tomlin yelling at Arians last night. That said, I don't think Arians cares and his ego gets the best of him.

Looks like we're going to lose Gibson. It's reported that he's going to get claimed by Buffalo.

This game reminds me a lot of the game we played against the Eagles back in 08. They blitzed the **** out of us and made us look terrible. While I didn't see the second half of last nights game. I came away thinking that, while we certainly didn't look good, we didn't look as bad as that Eagles game.
Also, this is the biggest problem with Arians. He seems to lack the ability to make the appropriate changes when things aren't working. He should have thrown out some quick slants and screen passes to slow down the rush, then maybe have a slant and go when the corner starts to try and jump the route. No reason to have routes that go 10-15 yards down the field on a 3rd and 6 all out blitz.
Anyway, I'm disappointed, but not too upset. We lost to a good NFC team, but the other top teams lost as well.

The Steelers have allowed each of the past three opposing quarterbacks -- Brees, Chad Henne and Colt McCoy -- to finish with 80-plus passer ratings. Dick LeBeau’s complicated scheme is famous for confounding quarterbacks, but lately that hasn’t been the case.
With Pittsburgh leading the NFL in run defense entering Sunday, more and more teams will aim to beat the Steelers via the pass.
from espn as well
couldnt have said it better myself
lebeau is getting to be somewhat predictable imo... our zone blitz allows the qb to have just enough time to find someone settling in our zones and he gets it away

glad we lost gibson but still have stud machines like randle el, arnaz battle, tony hills, and an aaron smith with his arm in complete shambles on the active roster. just pathetic
ive always said randle el was afraid of the endzone, i didnt mean physically terrified of it, but after last night i do...theres no reason he shouldnt have gotten in by at least 3 yards.
cut him
with a knife

If that was a butt whoopin', I wonder what you call what the lowly Browns gave yall the week before?? It was 13-10 until 2 minutes left in the game.
Your greyhound fantasy does look good in a sig though. :)

Yeah. If players are picked up from waivers they have to be put on active roster. And they could use all the 3-4 olb help they can get.

Ahem CJ... we play Carolina this week then we can go into the Bye Week.
Also wanted to give props to the Steelers, that was a physical game and really could have gone either way. Good luck with the rest of your guys season.

Randy Moss was waived today.
I don't know about you guys, but I'd like to give him a look. He played with no passion nor any interest in Minnesota. Maybe he could do something with us, I dunno.
And we could definitely use another good WR. Yesterday was an example of that. With the Saints focused on not allowing Wallace to go deep, we basically just had Ward and Miller, and the latter fumbled on his one big play.
Plus, I think he'd come for cheap. Definitely doesn't seem like a move Colbert would make, but it could be good for the team.

Also, according to Steelers Depot, Gibson was claimed by the 49ers, but I'm not finding any other sources.
There are three other articles, but they link back to the Steelers Depot report.

gibson will be starting across from manny lawson in 2 weeks
as far as moss goes....i couldnt even imagine him and wallace having foot races down the sidelines on every play. ward, miller, sanders would tear that middle up and mendenhall would run wild

losing gibson is actually hurting me more than losing to new orleans. mclendon better be the second ******* coming
and smith better play at a pro bowl level in the playoffs

Goose, if we claim Moss, we pay him vet min because Minnesota will pay his salary. I doubt we get him, but maybe Tomlin will try and talk to Colbert and company to sign him if he reaches to Pittsburgh. Wallace and Moss going deep= pure sex.

We don't need Moss, period :P
We have Ward, who is in my eyes > Moss, Wallace is awesome, we have 2 promising young guys (Sanders + Brown) and Randle El, who has just returned.
We just simply don't need him, I don't want to decrease these guys chances to play

ward is in no way shape or form > moss in anything besides blocking and blindside hits.
randle el never should have returned, never should have been welcomed back, and never should have made it through training camp. i blame him for the new orleans loss, ward would have gotten into that endzone by 3-4 yards, not short 3-4 inches. but i guess his lowest PR avg in the league makes him worth keeping around

Moss is still one of the best WRs in the league. Do you know the attention he still recieves? He'll get doubled team so much, which will open up Hines and Heath in the middle, and give one on one with Wallace deep. Moss would improve our team in so many ways. Sign Moss and cut ARE.
Moss and Wallace on the outside, Hines in the slot, Sanders and Brown here and there, and Heath getting the seam and middle is pure sex.

I doubt we will cut ARE, we shoudl have, but we won't. And I can't stand Moss, especially after the way he let New England win against his new team (where he wanted to go).
I really have 0 respect for him, he is not a team player, never was.
Ward is a team player, he fights for every yard and does everything for the Steelers. I'd rather have Ward then Moss.
