They don't have a Soda company. What if it's something huge like Pepsi? I'm not really sure what sort of products were big in the 60's, but yeah it would have o be significant.

One of Ken's clients that he brought over from the other agency last season was Mountain Dew.

Maybe he will luck into another big account.

The show is ending at season 7. Also, good television writers never keep someone in a prominent role/alive( more for something like the sopranos) just because the character is likeable. Let the story decide what happens not popularity. Weiner knows wahts up.

I think you're speaking in absolutes. Not every good TV writer is capable of doing what Vince Gilligan did, and failure to do that doesn't make a writer bad automatically.
I trust Weiner to do what's right. I happen to think that involves Roger's role becoming more important again.
I also haven't seen anything definitive that says it'll end at 7. I think it will, but no one has said that to my knowledge. That's just when the current contracts end.

AMC did force more episodes upon Gilligan ... I think it ends with 7, but there's no need to speak in absolutes with 3 seasons to go before that point.

Matt Weiner doesn't compromise, if he says three seasons, I will speak in absolutes.
And earlier I wasn't saying that it definitley won't happen, I was just saying Roger getting a bigger role isn't an absolute because hes a really popular character like some lesser shows will do (Any Sons of Anarchy fans know what Im talking about).
I could see Roger making a big comeback, shrink into relative obscurity, or even die. Weiner does what Weiner wants.

One of my teachers in high school did this and told us about it. IT was a sickening moment for everyone in the class.

I love how much coverage Grantland has given Mad Men. Klosterman is the man.

As Roger said best, "When is everything going to go back to normal". Pretty much sums the audiences/my feelings after the first two episodes.
And about Harry, yes he is SUCH a douche and for that reason I never feel bad for him this season.

Can someone pm me what happens the first ten minutes? I keep missing it for different reasons and I'd rather just a summary than search for a clip. Thanks in advance.

Loved that episode. The Roger/Pete feud continues to be incredible and I like the new copywriter they brought in.
