Donnie Avery out for the season
Torn ACL
How screwed is Sam Bradford his best receiver(who to me is 3rd or 4th WR on most teams) is out for the season and now maybe Danny Amendola from hardknocks will get a chance to start. His Wide Receivers are the worst in league imo hopefully this does not hurt his confidence to bad. I had him going to pro-bowls and maybe the HOF now he might end up like David Carr :(

His best receiver is Laurent Robinson, first. Second, Mardy Gilyard should have a firm opportunity now.

If you've watched them both play, yes. Funny because Laurent was the one with major injury concerns.

Gilyard looks like he's going to get some work.

I agree with Shane.
His best receiver is Laurent Robinson. Let's not get that mistaken here.

Avery isnt even good at all... None of there wrs are. Amendola and Gilyard are the only ones worth keeping cause there special team play. Would be nice to get Stallworth or maybe a Clowney or worst case get Early Doucet. But this year is going to be a grind for the rams.

All of the Rams WR's are good enough to be #2's if the O-line blocks like it did against the Pats. Bradford had plenty of time and was hitting his WR's and TE's and his rhythm was good. He has all the tools to be a great QB. The Rams o-line was finally healthy and did what it is capable of. Now, if they can just stay that way.

I think Brandon Gibson is going to open up some eyes this year. He has some potential.

Sam Hurd can be had!
Anyway, AJ Green to STL is a lock, as if it wasn't already.

**** **** ****, this blows, now it's time for Robinson, Gibson, Gilyard, & Amendola to carry the load at a already weak position, i wonder if we sign one legit who gets cut from another team in the coming weeks

This.
I kinda wish we had kept him since we let Witherspoon go, but we did end up getting Cooper so I can't complain.

This is like the Green/Warner situation all over again.
One decent guy goes down- then a superstar emerges.
I hope so for St. Louis' benifit. I'd hate for them to have a top 3 pick again

This. Come on guys, make a deal for him. I dont want to lose him, but if he can go from our bench to starting for the Rams over night...I'd be pretty damn excited.
Keep a close eye on #17 tonight Rams fans...he may be a Ram before long. Makes me sad, but it'd be a really nice fit.
...
Hopefully the Bobby Crapenter trade hasnt turned them off from making another deal with us. Because Sam actually is a player, where as Bobby...well.

Thing is he'll probably do some stuff in the slot but without a #1 or #2 type receiver there it makes it that much tougher on him.
The Rams no doubt will be following the waiver wire closely and might be able to come up with someone that can contribute like a Hurd, Hank Baskett or a Matt Jones. You arent going to get any Cadillacs but you might get something that can run.

Jason Hill is likely to be released soon, I am sure the Rams will try to claim him.

If not I don't see him getting past Martz and the Bears.

Laurent Robinson isn't his best receiver...Avery was his best option, which is why hes been starting over Robinson since he got there last year...just saying. Gibson is going to step up big and I hope this gives Gilyard a chance to really make some plays.

avery has a ton of talent if he ever stays healthy. Hopefully the surgery goes well and he comes back next year. He would be a great slot wr if the Rams get a true #1.
