Now that's an SEC 4.5 on display.

SEC speed all over the place last night. Hester, Tyson, Dorsey, Berry, Dexter, Bowe, the almighty BUSTer Davis.

Seriously though, Brandon Flowers is a MAN, that dude has SEC type skills.

Did the Chiefs run over your dog? Did you bet against them or something? Jeez.

I remember those games, I just was younger and wasn't physically at them. I do remember that MNF game against the Seahawks well though. :)

Our offense is definitely suspect. We're a run first team and Haley was kind of stupid to split carries between Jones and Charles. It's clear that Charles is the better player and should be getting the bulk, with Jones playing 3rd downs/spot duty.

Like Splat said, a win is a win and I'll take it.

Wait, seriously? I watched the Baltimore/New York game but had a date during the Chiefs game (lousy timing but don't worry, I kept checking the score and stats whenever she wasn't paying attention.) Sanchez basically played as badly as a QB can without throwing INTs. But then again, it's hard to throw interceptions when you don't throw a single pass that has a chance of being any sort of gain. He wasn't Mr. Checkdown last night; he was Mr. There Is Only One Receiver And That's The Checkdown. Pathetic performance.

I'm not saying Cassel didn't play worse, I'm just trying to fathom it.

Both of them were awful, so it really doesn't matter but Cassel at least threw some passes downfield (and was semi accurate on a couple of balls that were dropped by Bowe and Chambers).

Yeah.. it's so evident how Charles should be used but Haley, apparently, is the only one that doesn't agree. He needs to get 20+ touches every game. Period. He's your offense. However, he doesn't need, nor with Jones to spell him, should he be getting 30+ carries. Right around 25 touches (ideally 20ish carries and 5ish receptions) is probably the sweet spot to keep him healthy and rested but still moving your offense.

That division is such crap you can win it at 8-8. I'm waiting for the day there is a division so bad someone gets in at 7-9. This could be it.

I'm thinking 6-10. The NFC West really needs Kurt Warner back.

I don't think it's completely unreasonable if the only wins they get are on each other. The Cardinals have to play a 1st place schedule for 2 of their games....that could hurt them. And it'll help the Rams to be playing 2 against two of the Bucs, Lions and Skins. (I forget which NFC division they play as a division.)

What are you basing this off of? McCoy has always been a stud and will still be, Dorsey played like a monster last night and considering he was a top 5 pick he should have.

I remember the look on my face when I watched the Chiefs select Glenn Dorsey. I almost **** bricks! I've never had that feeling before or since that draft, so it was kinda weird. It was not forced at all, as I was truly worried lol.

Looking at the schedule I doubt it now. The NFC West plays the AFC West. So there are some wins to be had there. Plus they play the NFC South. So everyone of those teams gets a game with the Bucs. 8-8 probably.

Let's say one of them....Seattle seems most reasonable...runs the division for 6 wins. Beat the Bucs and Raiders.....yeah I guess 8-8 is acceptable. Maybe beat the Panthers too if Moore doesn't pull his **** together.

Or they division could beat up on itself a little....the Rams could be dangerous, and I don't think the 49ers will be down forever.

It's going to be interesting to say the least.

The passing game yes but as long as Todd wakes up and starts giving the ball to "The" Jamaal the running game should be fine.

And yes I'm going to start referring to Charles as "The" Jamaal from now on.
