Then the Giants are stupid for getting Eli
And Butler 3rd-5th

I agree. I mean, why even have a draft?

If you wouldn't trade a 1st rounder for a 2nd year player who's proved to be an above-average player in his rookie season, whom you would otherwise have selected as a 1st rounder, it defeats the purpose of that draft pick and thus the draft.

No. I would look at the draft, see what players are available at the position, and see if they had higher ceilings. I trade for production only. Besides, you would have to wonder, why would that team be trading their first round pick away after 1 year? If theyre willing to give up on a first rounder after 1 year, isnt that a major red flag?

Top 5 for Westbrook? WTF?
Not denying his talent. He's a very good back, but hasn't shown to be very durable over his career.. That is absurd.
Vick, honestly early 2nd.. I'm sure a team would give a 1st if they were picking towards the bottom, but around early 2 is about right imo. I would probably be okay with the Bears giving away there 1st for Vick.

Yea I guess you could question his durabilty but he is such a threat in the passing game and the running game. Plus he's only getting better, correct me if i'm wrong but he had his best year ever last year.

Ok....
#1)We're going to resign Tommie Harris. Period. He's the 2nd best player on our team and has two years left on his contract. You know not what you speak of.
#2)He's worth a high 1st. He's one of the best defensive tackles in the league, a premium position, and he's very young.
On a side note as it relates to the rest of the thread, some of you have no ******* idea what you're talking about. I know that I'm a know-it-all, but come on.....
Not to mention that the thread stated to list variables about the player (a very good idea) and not a single person has done that as of yet.

At this point, if my team needed a LT, I would without a doubt trade my first rounder if I had no shot at Joe Thomas. Maybe even if I did.
