Regardless of our execution throughout the game it was a garbage call that had a major impact on the game, the call against Woodson should have been a no call as well.

Packers barely attempting to run, so Washington drops guys back in coverage and only rushes 4...and McCarthy continues to call for passes downfield where guys are covered..giving the SKins Dlineman time to get free on this shoddy OL and hitting Rodgers

where was the quick passes? Where the hell was the run game? This season is going down the crapper fast, with 2 losses they should have won. Now they face their biggest challenge because th schedule only gets harder, and the team doesn't look like they have what it takes.

Really can't complain about that call on Poppinga considering Woodson and Bishop both got away with blatant PI calls.

what makes Greg Jennings and Donald Driver so great is that when we get the ball in their hands they have the ability to make people miss and get yards after the catch...Mike's play calling is making that difficult, especially with Jennings, because it seems that he's stretching the defense and never provided with chances at the line or underneath...we're trying to stretch the defense without a running game and very little in quick, short passes

See I don't understand this reasoning at all. The officials missed a call early on in the game so we get punished when the games on the line for a mistake the ref made? How does that make any sense?

Clay got held in the EZ which should have been a safety...instead the skisn got a 21 yard reception

Packers just making it tougher on themselves. They should be 5-0 right now with their tough portion of the schedule up. Now they'll have to win some hard games as they really cant afford to lose much more.

Where are the quick slants we used to run? Even though the running game looked better today we still do something decent then get blasted for a 5 yard loss on the next run. Rodgers is taking alot of hits an the way the injuries are going this year im getting worried hes next.

Its hard watching this team play. We outplay our opponents and go in at half up a TD. Which is good but we had numerous chances to go in up alot more in every game. The 2nd half rolls around and this team doesn't do a damn thing. Eventually leaving all those points and making so many mistakes will catch up to you. We could easily be 1-4 or 5-0 but were 3-2. It just seems to be the same stupid **** week in an week out. This schedule does not get any easier and with all the injuries it just sucks. I sure hope the Vikings get raped tomorrow otherwise it will just blow that much more.

It's not that the call that happened late in the game should compensate for the missed calls that happened earlier in the game. But in the NFL, sometimes you get the close calls, and sometimes they don't go your way.

It doesn't make sense to complain about a close call that didn't go your way when you got two gifts from the refs when they let those penalties fly. Maybe Washington scores on the drive that stalled out when Woodson was clearly grabbing Santana Moss as the ball was in the air.

Also, it's not like Poppinga wasn't holding Sellers on the play.

Of course it makes sense, it makes perfect sense. It doesn't make sense to blame the loss on a close call that didn't go your way. It's not an officials job to make sure both teams are treated fairly, it's there job to make the right calls every time they throw a flag, that's the only impact they should have on the game.

Greg Bedard feels that Finley and Matthews will both be out next week and we need to keep an eye on a report about Rodgers possibly suffering a concussion

I thought they were descent calls. Poppinga had his arm around the receiver which he simply can't do and Woodson tackled his man as his feet got caught up. Point being we shouldn't even have been in the situation.

I'm tired of this year after year - the same early season struggles and hot finish (hopefully again this year). McCarthy is a damn fine coach but his inability to focus on details and fundamentals is just disturbing. We pay Greg Jennings as a top 5 WR yet we rarely get him the ball. We install the ZBS and rarely run the ball - even with Grant. Now we have no run game and these undersized Olineman are giving up way too much pressure. We should easily be 5-0 right now if we played more disiplined football.

I'm still amazed by how much penetration our defense got on that last drive though, between BJ Raji, Cullen Jenkins, and Mike Neal I think we'll have a monster defensive line for a while.

The call on Poppinga wasn't a hold at all, having your hands on a player and holding a player are two completely different things, nothing Poppinga did impeded the receiver's route at all and thus shouldn't have been a penalty. At least that's my interpretation of the rule, correct me if I'm wrong.

And the Woodson call was the same way, I'm to tired right now to explain it, but I didn't really think that should have been a penalty either.

I'm not blaming the loss on those calls at all, McCarthy has sole possession of the blame right now as far as I'm concerned, but they were prominent penalties on the final drive that clearly played a part in the outcome of the game.

Jenkins is a beast just imagine if he had 2 hands... he would have alot more sacks as well.

We should also have had a safety. Clay was clearly held in the endzone but no call. It was a long FG but Mason is not very clutch. I know he has lost us a couple games dont remember him winning any. I must also say **** Mason way to go! Because from what I gathered Rodgers was hurt in OT and had Mason made that kick not only do we win but we also still have Rodgers.

The game is not Crosby's fault. It'd have been huge for him to knock it through, but most teams don't have a kicker that they expect to make that kick. It's not like he just chocked, he still hit the upright. We lost because the offense could only score one touchdown.

And yes, the defensive line was very impressive today.

You can be mad at the fact that he missed that FG goal but to actually blame Mason Crosby for the loss, much less Aaron Rodgers' concussion, is borderline ********.

That didnt come out exactly right. Mason did not lose us that game in any way but he had a chance to win it for us. I didnt blame Rodgers concussion on him either. I just said had he clutched it OT wouldn't have happened which in turn means the concussion wouldn't have happened. Things happen guys get hurt but its not literally his fault. **** Mason way to go! (I meant like come on mannnnn not hatred or anything)

I thought they were descent calls.

They weren't descent. And they weren't decent.

The call on Poppinga on 3rd & 2 was a crock of *****. That should have been a 49-yard FG attempt right there. Very rare do they call pass interference when legs get tangled up like that. The one on Woodson was fine. Woody has been clutching and grabbing more than ever this year. I think he feels (or has) that he has lost a half step and he's restorting to a little tug. The same tug the Redskin DL #97 did on Quarless coming off the LOS on the 4th & goal failed pass.

The non-call on the helmet-to-helmet hit on Rodgers was criminal. We lost a game at Chicago because they did call that on Zombo.

You can't make contact after 5 yards and you certainly can't have your arm around a receiver.
