Best Solution to the "Palmer Problem"

Get rid of the guys who aren't doing their part to increase discipline and cut down on penalties to the O-Line.

If we could stop killing our drives, and putting ourselves in ****** positions we can limit the need to throw like mad within the last 2 minutes.

Yea, while I don't think he's been nearly as good as he used to be/should be, he certainly doesn't deserve all of the blame he is getting. We can't really pass protect, and when your offense is as predictable as ours is, it doesn't help him at all.

Not saying I want to trade Carson Palmer... but what would you deem acceptable for return for him?

I think your lucky to get a 1st rounder, likely to get a 2nd with another pick based on either performance and long term deal that could get escalated to a 3rd

Cassel and Vrabel together were worth an early 2nd (the 33-34th overall pick) if I recall correctly. Based on that, we should be able to get an early second + some other compensation.

Depending on what happens in this off season, I think we should keep Palmer on the roster for now. As bad as Palmer is at times, you cannot out draft him next year. We likely won't have a chance at any of the tops picks like Locker and Luck (maybe Mallet... but I don't think I even want Mallet). But even if we did get one of those guys, none of them could out perform Palmer next year.

Another thought: a new HC might be able to build a simpler offense that leans less on Palmer and more on the running game / scheme passes.

3. Cut Dennis ******* Roland and let Andre start
4. Trade a 2nd for Logan Mankins
5. Run the ball like crazy and don't give a **** what Chad and TO have to say about it
