This is probably true except that voters are biased and stupid and will probably vote Ponder first and Tyrod 2nd because 'they are better pro prospects' and in the media more. On a side note, I actually have T.J. Yates as not only draftable at this point, but with a solid 5th round grade trending upwards...

No team that can get hit in the mouth like this can go to the national championship.
Hell if they lose this game it won't even look probable to win the Big Ten.

Anyone know of a good defensive coach who wants to coach Michigan? I'll be handling the interview process.

Say what? Boise St. vs Oregon for the NC?
Iowa in the Rose Bowl?

And on a side note, Tyrod being voted over Yates would be a crime. T.J. is basically sexing Taylor in every way.

Tyrod is overrated. He's a smaller Michael Robinson. Not a pro-prospect at QB.

I would faithfully watch a BSU/TCU, BSU/Oregon or BSU/Auburn NC game.

If you're a Boise hater than you must be a BCS lover in my book. I want that ******* system to tank so ******* badly....and if it takes Boise to do it, then so be it.

I completely agree with this but the media seems to love the guy. That's the only reason I mentioned him as being 2nd team ACC over Yates who is undoubtedly better.

FWIW they're calling Ponder a poor man's Snead on the SF 9ers discussion thread.
That team is already actively seeking a new starter at QB for reason that s/b obvious to anyone who has seen the 9ers this yr. Miss on an elite qb & settle for Nick Foles ? who knows

I'd take Luck, Locker, Mallett, Gabbert, Enderle, Johnson, Stanzi, Yates and maybe a couple of small school guys over Ponder right now.

Or I could just be someone who doesn't like the idea of a team playing nearly nobody worth a **** and making the national title game. If every FBS team finishes with one loss, why not invite an undefeated FCS team? I mean, obviously you don't care about strength of schedule. If there aren't any undefeated FCS teams, let's ask a D-2 undefeated team to play for the FBS national title.

Yeah, but the FCS and DII teams wouldn't beat one-loss FBS teams.
Boise State would.
