Bryce Brown, RB, Kansas St.
What is everyone's prediction on how well Bryce Brown will do next season? And if he gets it together in K-State and have a huge year, is he talented enough to challenge Trent Richardson for the #1 RB spot?

I believe it's possible......He should've went on to MIAMI like he intended to do. Why did he transfer again?

No one really knows for sure, but when Kiffin left, it was as if nothing was left in Tennessee for BB anymore. There were all kinds of rumors from BB just being homesick, him not getting along with Dooley, to the possibility that Kiffin was giving him improper benefits (which would've been cut off with Kiff leaving and a new coach coming in that wouldn't be willing to continue anything or give him special treatment).
The only thing I saw out off BB last year that's better than Richardson was his receiving. Other than that, Richardson is better in just about everything. But it's hard to get an apples-to-apples comparison of the two considering TR ran behind a studly OL while BB ran behind one that had two walk-ons at LG and C and a RS freshman at RT. BB also dealt with an injury, too.
No clue how well he'll do at K-State cause I don't know much about the team going forward. He's certainly talented though, but I don't think he'll catch Richardson. Richardson is super talented as well, plays on a loaded team to help him, and doesn't have the character baggage BB has.

I thought he went to K-State so he could play ball with his brother who left the U??
Bryce is all potential at this point, I have to see him do something dominant on a football field that isn't against HS competition.

I still really like him as a runner. Richardson has proved so much more at this point that it's hard to envision Brown passing him, but he's a talented back in his own right and could still do some damage at the college level and in the NFL one day too.

If he passes Richardson, that class will be absolutely stacked at the top, because Richardson is one of the best athletes I've seen at RB in a while not named Adrian Peterson.

He reminded me a lot of Ronnie Brown.

I wouldn't draft him unless I was the Chiefs.

I am just turned to the game and I'm wondering how helpful will he be in K State's backfield next year?
Will he WOW us?

Well, what the hell happened to BB in 2011?
I see he's been snubbed from the combine:

RB Bryce Brown: Kansas State (6-0, 220)
Watching him run in Lane Kiffin's zone scheme as a freshman, the guy was an impressive back with a lot of natural talent. He was the number one ranked recruit out of high school, ahead of Trent Richardson in 2009 and no doubt has the skill set to play in the league. The biggest question mark for him going forward is his overall character.

Seems someone with his apparent talent, and great size, will be someone's sleeper this April. When?

Ciatrick Fason? Pick a 5 star recruit that didn't make it in the NFL.

Bryce followed Kiffin to Tennesee and really liked him, there were talks about him following Kiffin to USC but I think Tennessee wouldn't release him from the scholarship or something. Anyways, he wound up at K-State with him brother Arthur.
Brown is an elite talent, but lacks maturity. I really thought he'd excel at K-State because Bill Snyder really tries to run a system that best utilizes his athletes, and adapts it based on his players, not necessarily only recruiting players that fit a certain system like some coaches.
He only had 3 rushes for 16 yards this season and left the program on a temporary basis after 3 games. The main play I remember from Bryce is that he whiffed on a block against Miami leading Colin Klein to take a nasty shot and, to my knowledge that was his last play.
I believe why Bryce wasn't playing at K-State much is because he wasn't giving into Bill Snyder. Bill Snyder is a great coach and great leader, but you can't be selfish and must listen to what he says. I believe Bryce was 4th on the depth chart prior to him leaving K-State.
Reports are that he had a pregnant girlfriend in Tennessee and that he left and spent this past semester (aside from the first 3 games he played at K-State) living in Tennessee.
People really aren't talking much about Bryce and why he left K-State, not even his brother. But Bill Snyder himself simply said that Bryce was having some personal issues and that they wished him the best and would help him in any way they could. It's sad to see this happen to Bryce while his brother is flourishing and has a good chance at being a 1st round pick next year

Talented mofo but his best hope is that someone likes him enough to UDFA him. One of the 4 late SEC backs I think could Arian Foster a muhtrucka.

Speaking of Ciatrick and Bryce (5-star stud recruits who disappeared), anyone here know where Noel Devine is these days? What's the little pinball wizard doing?
Did he make enough $ from his recruitment tour, and at WVU, to sustain him and his family for awhile?

From 2000-2009 the Titans had a 91-69 record, good for 8th best in the NFL. The Chiefs had a 70-90 record, tied for 23rd best.
Titans are 119-89 since 99 when I became a fan, the Chiefs are 96- 112 in that time. So what exactly were you implying?
