It's funny because if the Falcons win, the NFL would almost definitely choose the Seahawks or Bucs for the final flex game depending on their matchup this week...
|
If Green Bay beats New York, then I would be shocked if the NFL didn't try to flex the Green Bay-Chicago game. That is one of the best rivalries, Green Bay going for the wild-card and Chicago going for the #2 seed. If New York wins, it would have to be Tampa-New Orleans especially is Atlanta beats New Orleans this week. Winner goes to the playoffs. Loser goes home (asusming Tampa beats Seattle.)

Tampa Bay shouldn't even be in this position. It's disgusting how they're still in it. Peep their schedule if you haven't by now.

Bahahahaha. That's a perfect analogy.
The NFC West: It's like watching Women's Basketball.

It's really not that disgusting. They beat teams that they're supposed to beat, which is more than a lot of other teams can say.
You know what's really disgusting? Losing to Washington and Miami (at home) in overtime in consecutive weeks. Completely blowing the game to Chicago (another team that, you know, beats teams they're supposed to beat) is pretty gross, too.
I forgot, though, all of these other teams in the NFL are healthy. Silly me.

The schedule argument doesn't work in the NFL like it does in college.
Tampa Bay, counting the games against eachother, plays 14 of the same teams as Atlanta and New Orleans. Only 2 games a year are decided by the previous years record, the rest are all set exactly the same for the entire division.

How the hell do the fans of a team making a playoff push not sell out a game? Especially a fanbase and stadium renowned for being loud and supportive?

It Christmas weekend, I am sorry. Celebrating the birth of Jesus to me is far more important than a Chiefs victory. Do you people realize the significance of that day and weekend? We should not only be celebrating the Sabbath but the birth of our Lord.

Football IS my religion.
Also, it's not as if Christmas actually is on Sunday.

I thought Christmas was about celebrating Jesus rising from the dead to give presents around the world.

I doubt the game is blacked out to be honest. I'll be there anyway!

Well, those 3-10 Lions are the same team that Pack barely beat the first time around and lost 6-3 to last week.

They should win easily, but it might be close at the end.

I know of friends from school and people from work who will be at the game. If the Steelers lose, the population of Western PA might be cut in half from suicides.
Most of these same people were ready to forfeit the season and fire everybody after that Patriots loss.....you can tell it's a fanbase that just doesn't know how to handle losing.

I thought it was about buying gifts that you pay people to wrap so they can be returned three days later.

Yeah, Steeler fans are unbearable at times. They lose a game and the world is coming to an end. They barely beat a team and they will go one and done in the playoffs. It's ridiculous.

The guy I'm playing for the championship picked up Rex Grossman (@ Jax) and benched Eli Manning (@GB) for him. I understand playing the matchups, but Jesus.
Jacksonville, if you let me down here, I am revoking my fandom.
