Now we're up by only 11 with Bush as our #2 corner. Rodgers better be ON cuz we won't stop them again.

The strength of our defense just became the weakness if Collins, Woodson, Shields can't play the 2nd half

There's going to be a lot more blitzes if this is the case.

Awesome first half. Collins was ignored all week and now he's playing with a chip on his shoulder. Shields and Woodson both have shoulder injuries correct? They better damn well be able to play. At worst one of them. I will never stop biting my nails if we spend 30 football minutes protecting a lead with one good corner and a secondary filled with guys on par with those who lost us the game last time we played the Steelers. Rodgers is so much better than Ben it's a joke. Well, I can't say it was obvious before but now that they are playing it isn't even close who is playing better.

We've barely gotten any pressure so far. Disappointing. Matthews has been playing too conservatively.. I know he's trying to spy but we need him to hit Ben.
Rodgers needs to carry the team.

Not if Rodgers makes sure we score every time we get the ball.
Make your legacy Rodgers. Do it.

We need at worst 1 of Shields and Woodson (both would be so much better) or this game is going to be a shootout like last year

If it's a shootout I'll take Rodgers.
Come on. COME ON. DO THIS.

I hate this. I feel like I'm going to be in the mood to break things for the rest of this football game and swim in alcohol after it's over.

LOL. I missed it live due to my own celebration but they just showed the replay on NFL network. What a joke. There was no dogpile. Matthews basically gave him a hug while he was kneeling. Oh well in the end it didn't matter.

Collins went to the ground (his knees) which was the issue.
I thought Collins celebrated with teammates first and then ran to the middle of the endzone and and slid on his knees, which would've been excessive celebration.
Quote:
New rule to 2006:
Individual players are prohibited from using foreign objects or the football while celebrating. They are also prohibited from engaging in any celebrations while on the ground. A celebration shall be deemed excessive or prolonged if a player continues to celebrate after a warning from an official. Previously, players were not prohibited from using props or celebrating on the ground.
Reason for the change: Promotes sportsmanship.

Ok, so it was the sliding to his knees that warranted the flag. Still seems like it was called to the letter of the rule and not the spirit. Just glad it didn't matter in the end.

50 rushing yards. Second fewest ever for a Super Bowl winner. That's how we do.

Starks actually averaged 4.7 yds/rush, including some clutch gains. He had some lapses in pass protection though. Fortunate that Rodgers didn't get knocked out on a couple of those. As with all rookies that's something he needs to improve.
