It could really go either way. Our passing game is in disarray. SCAR is loaded, but it's not coming together.

No more NJ players for you I hope. The HS he's from(Timber Creek) is slowly becoming a football powerhouse in NJ. Lots of big prospects are going to be coming of there and I hope you guys don't have a pipeline.

Jordan Jefferson blows...LSU should go with the hot hand and just play Lee.

Jordan Jefferson being admitted back on the team has caused a lot of dissension with the fan base. It just boggles my mind that some want Jefferson to start. Did they not watch JJ play last year? The dude was average AT BEST last season. If it weren't for Lee LSU would have lost the Tennessee and Florida games. How in their right mind would they even consider Jefferson seeing significant playing time with how well Lee has performed.

Jordan Jefferson is not a step up. He never played up to his billing as a highly ranked recruit. He is mediocre, not saying Lee is much better but he is playing well now and not making mistakes.

Not really shocking or anything, but Spurrier has officially made the switch from Stephen Garcia to Connor Shaw.

now that they don't need him anymore they finally kick him out. long overdue, but if he wasn't the starting QB he would've been gone a while ago.

I assumed as much...I havent seen that confirmed yet, though.
If it's an ACL, we've lost our top two backs to ACL tears...so now we turn to true Freshman, Brandon Wilds. 6'1 225.
He's got 8 carries for 67 yards and 3 receptions for 21 yards. He looks good, but yeah...there is no replacing Lattimore.
Shon Carson would have been our lead back if he didnt tear his ACL early in the year as well. Eric Baker/Kenny Miles will also be in the backfield mix...I'd hope Wilds would get more of the work load, however. The other two happen to be banged up too. We'll see a lot more of Ellington in the backfield as well.
edit...

Tennessee loses QB Tyler Bray & WR Justin Hunter - both stars for that team.
Florida loses QB John Brantley - starting QB w/ only freshmen behind him.
South Carolina kicks starting QB Stephen Garcia off the team and has Marcus Lattimore go down for the season.
Looks like UGA is now the favorite to win the SEC East. I pity them for having to face Alabama or LSU in the SEC championship game.

It's Justin Hunter.
Everyone at ESPN calls him Harper as well and it makes me want to punch these so called analysts.

Yeah, not having Taylor Bray and Jason Hunter is killing the Vols this season.

I still prefer SCAR over Georgia to win the East.
The Gamecocks defense has been carrying the team anyway.

that said, muschamp has to be a scared for his job already. he's in no danger of losing it for a good 2 years, but the way this team is set up, the defense be great while the offense still sucks. by the time the offense is set to succeed, the great defense will have gone to the next level.

As it is, when he comes out after next season, there will be questions about him being a 3 year starter with an ungodly # of carries (I can't imagine if he stays all 4 years), but with two injuries in two years his draft stock has undoubtedly taken a hit here.
It's unfortunate, he's one of my favorite players right now
