If I were a betting man, my money would go to Jersey. I guess he's getting the guilt trip by the owner to stay. Seems that's where his heart is at. Who knows. I hope we find out tomorrow. Thursday at the latest.

Suter to DET, Parise to PIT. It's what I would hate the most, but will probably happen.

All the talk of consulting with his fiance doesn't bode well for him leaving, I'd guess. Unless she's from Minnesota, but I imagine he met her in Jersey.

From what I understand(don't know how true it is), but she and her family are originally from the Pittsburgh area and she moved to ND for college. Again, don't know how true that is.

I honestly think him taking this long is him not being able to come to terms with leaving NJ. I think he loves the idea of being a Penguin and playing with Crosby but the loyalty to his team won't let him leave. And that's someone I'd never blame an athlete for, it's certainly helped Pittsburgh over the years.

If you have ever been to the state of North Dakota, you would understand that it makes zero sense to go from the east coast to ND. Whole lot of nothing in that state.

There's rumors coming out that Suter is going to chose Minnesota and then Parise is probably going to join him.

Yup, looking like Suter and Parise to Minnesota this afternoon. Bummer for Pens fans because they cleared space for Parise and still didn't get him. Oh well.

Bigger bummer for Wings fans. We always had a **** ton of money to give and they didn't take it.

Suter to Minnesota, per the Star Tribune.
Parise not yet, but inevitable now.

Detroit is officially out on Parise, though we unofficially knew that two days ago.

I wonder who the Pens go after now on the trade market. Outside of Doan(who probably will resign in Phoenix), I don't really like anyone on the list.

Alright, it's been a while since Matt Carle played in the Western Conference for me to see him regularly. Am I wrong to assume he and Suter are nearly offensive equals? They have identical point-per-game paces through their similar length careers ....

Parise agreed to sign with the Wild too.
13 years for both? Damn.

Wow. I did not see this at all. They must have been sold on the Wilds prospects.

I'm gonna laugh when it's revealed they both got $100 million.
I'm actually a little relieved that the Wings don't have to commit that kind of money to a defenseman that isn't really very flashy or physical. I wanted him, but if the Wings hadn't lost Lidstrom this offseason, I honestly think I'd be wary of pursuing him as they did with a 13/90 offer.

Hahaha now the bitterness comes out. You wouldn't give that money to a top 5 defenseman in the game? ok.
