Detroit will be glad to get out of a division with Columbus :P
Chris Kunitz is 3rd in the league in scoring. Chris Kunitz. Sidney Crosby.

This Wild game has been crazy. Wild had 5 dudes in the box at once. Up 2-0.
**** the Canucks.

It's amazing what Kunitz has been doing.

<3 Brodin
Quote:

– Scotty Bowman has been impressed with two young defensemen: the Phoenix Coyotes’ Oliver Ekman-Larsson and the Minnesota Wild’s Jonas Brodin. Mark these words: “You’ll see in a couple years. You’ll be talking about these guys among the top half-dozen defensemen in the league. That’s how good they are.” He loves their skating, skill and hockey sense – how passes are always tape-to-tape.

Brodin always worried me with how he would put himself in position to take big hits, and those fears only increased when he got hurt. I certainly love his passing ability, but I've seen him get caught admiring or not having his eyes on the forecheck. I hope he's grown past that for his own sake, him and Minnesota are a pair I'd like to see do well.

My thoughts on Brodin so far:
Still only the 2nd best 19 year old rookie d-man in the NHL though.
OEL and Pietrangelo are amazing to watch as well. Lots of good young defensive talent in the NHL right now.

He got charged by Taylor Hall.. dude took a solid 6 strides. Obviously his frail physique is a concern, but I think he's smart enough to avoid most hits. He will get stronger, too.

Corey Perry can go kick rocks. Definitely getting a suspension for that.

What a 3rd period for the Pens. Sutter with 2 late goals to tie and take the lead

Jhonas Enroth is clearly the superior Swedish goaltender.

It's so frustrating being an avs fan, I want my team to make the playoffs cause the kids need that experience and we won't suck enough for a top 5 pick anyways, but if we make the playoffs Sacco will definitely be back and he's one of the worst hockey coaches I've ever watched tank his team.

So sad for Geoffrion
I loved him in his short time with the Habs.

So Detroit finally scored a powerplay goal on the road.
Of course, they still lost to the bottom team in the conference, because they are a purely awful road team.

Wings are 1-4-2 against Columbus and Calgary this year, I believe. The one win was in a shootout.
Pathetic.

Yep. They need roughly 26 points in 21 game to make the playoffs. Im not confident.

It's the right decision. He's not ready.
Keep in mind that he is one of the youngest in his draft class, barely eligible.

It should have been the right decision before we played him for scrap minutes in 20 games and burned a contract year.

That's better than Sacco benching Barrie so he could give minutes to O'Byrne, Hunwick and Zanon :'(
