Haven't seen much of the Hawks this year, but I picked them as the favorite out west. Who has Frolik been playing with?

Frolik has been playing with Bolland and Bickell on the 3rd line. It's also been our most consistent line so far.
They are generating chances and their defensive play has been solid as well.
This team just looks like it has a different focus this year. They appear to be hungry again and Kane moving to C has been money so far. He's setting up people left and right from the middle and he's actually playing fairly well on the defensive end (as well as winning faceoffs).

Same with the Devils'. I can't even begin to understand why teams can go a week between games and then 3 in 4 or 4 in 5. It's stupid.

Detroit had 4 consecutive off days last week, then played two games in 3 days, then had five consecutive off days.
Now they play back to back nights.
That's some ****** scheduling. The Penguins have played FIVE MORE GAMES than Detroit right now.

How awesome has Crawford been so far? Guy has been a machine. I'm not sure if he's stepped it up or just been getting lucky, but he's making saves on point blank shots where it looks like he goes, "Oh look, another shot...I'll just effortlessly slide my leg/stick over and knock it away. This is getting pretty boring."

Man I can't wait until the game tomorrow. The Blackhawks are kinda like the more proven, more experienced version of the avs so far this season. The scoring lines aren't clicking while the defense has stepped been strong and the goaltending suberb. The last game was really close through 2 periods and then you guys just took it away. Hope some pucks bounce the other way this time and we can steal a win in chicago.

Nice.

God damnit we suck. I just got into the NHL very recently and my team has been absolutely horrible thus far.

He's certainly backing up his talk from the offseason. He said in an interview that he wanted to avoid the sophomore slump and worked his ass off this summer. He also looks better with the puck.
Big game tonight vs Colorado. I expect the Avs to come out with some energy after we knocked them off in Denver.

I just saw this, 1) Murray got right back up, 2) Boulton needs to take his helmet off.

Wild somehow escape with a point against Vancouver. Would have had a shot at the shootout if Heatley didn't slash Kesler's stick for no reason, behind the play, with 1:20 left in OT.

David Booth, Reinprecht, and a 3rd for Samuelsson and Sturm.
Dammit, Vancouver.

Is there a stupider team in the NHL than the goddamn Panthers? **** up negotiations with Luongo up to a point where you have to trade him for nothing. **** up negotiations with Bouwmeester and lose him to Free Agency. Trade away a nice power forward in Nathan Horton. Trade away your best goalscorer for old players with low upside... They're like the new version of the Mike Milbury led Islanders.

I think the Panthers just want more high draft picks. Look at the Pens and how that turned out for them (Fleury, Malkin, Crosby, Staal).

James Neal is a ******* monster. I know how streaky his ass is, so I'm going to just enjoy this moment. Him playing with Sid could also help him stay consistent.

No. Word is he will sign for less if his rights get traded to another team (and it should be...).
I think he wants to be a go to guy in the NHL (who wouldn't?) but doesn't want to spend time in the minors (and his game does need some polishing).
