I have to believe that with Bishop going to Ottawa, the Wild are sitting in a good position to get a decent return for Josh Harding. I hear the Penguins are interested. Maybe something like one of Morrow/Kunhackl and a 2nd?

Coyotes have won 5 in a row and 10 of 11 to put themselves atop the Pacific
Mostly just a case of Mike Smith getting hot but the Coyotes as a whole have forced multiple overtimes after being down by a goal or 2 heading into the 4th and then winning those games

Why would the Penguins be interested in a goalie? Fleury seems like a quality starter to me.

If he mentioned Morrow, he might have meant the Stars.

Joe Morrow...but I still don't see why the Pens would trade for him when he would definitely bolt in FA.

I would HATE if the Pens gave up Morrow for a back up goalie.
And the reason why the Pens would go after a goalie is because Brent Johnson has been crap this season and is a FA after the season.

exactly what we need! pull the trigger Kenny!
Thank baby jesus that the Brad Stuart rumor was false. My bank account can't afford replacing a wall/window/television/whatever the hell I would have broken.
Id love to see the Wings acquire a power forward (be it a top 6 guy or a grinder)

Mike Commodore was sent to the Lightning and top prospect Brendan Smith was recalled to be in the lineup tomorrow for the Red Wings.
Holland explicitly stated he's done tinkering on defense. But offense is wide open.

I'd be relatively pleased to acquire David Jones. Shoots right-handed, perhaps flukishly scored 27 goals last year. Haha

Winnik and Galiardi to the Sharks from Colorado.
Pahlsson to the Canucks from Columbus.
Oduya to the Hawks from Winnipeg.

Xio, is it just me, or does it seem like Holland is thinking about the future way more than this season?
I feel like the Quincey deal was a preemptive strike to sure up the D when Lidstrom retires. Im having trouble understanding why I havent heard rumors about them acquiring a true top 6 winger for Datsyuk so Bert can move to the 3rd line

Quincey was acquired to replace Stuart when he departs as a UFA to a California team. Not to replace Lidstrom, who I think returns. And if he doesn't, they'll throw billions at Ryan Suter.
But yes, Holland is being too timid. The future of the Red Wings will never be in jeopardy. And frankly, everyone everywhere would sacrifice a year in the playoffs for a Stanley Cup.

Sharks gave up McGinn and two of their top prospects in their ****** prospect pool. I hope Doug Wilson dies in a fire. I am restraining from posting how upset I really am about this for now.
