That's just as asinine as selecting a QB just based on qb rating.

I still take Ovechkin. Maybe Nash. Desharnais is still the last player I'd take amongst those.

Desharnais is a good player. I like him. He's a heck of a second line center and I'll be angry if he's ever let go/demoted to 4th line duty because he stops producing for five games like every other point producer we've ever had (Kostitsyns, Grabovski, Ribeiro, etc).

Leblanc will be a good 2nd line/3rd line tweener. But fans/media won't drive him out of the city because he's not russian.

Also let Eller play goddammit. He's the most creative forward and best puckhandler next to Desharnais, and he's the fastest skater on that crap team. But no we won't let even near the ice on the powerplay ever because Scott Gomez and his 2 goals and 4 assists needs that PP time with Travis ******* moen in front of the net so we can keep having a 0.06% efficiency. ****'em all.

Cole is better than all of them still. And after that it's crap. And I'd argue all of them aren't true first line type players (at least not yet for Pacioretty and Eller, the other two never will be). Cole/Pacioretty/Desharnais is a nice line and would make a sick 2nd line, but they're just a decent to good first line.

I hate that we always ******* play with our goddamn lines. Stick with a plan, don't ******* change them every ******* game gosh. Andrei K was ******* buried on the 3rd for so long. But hey let's get Blunden and Yannick Weber on the first line IT'S GONNA WORK!

I can't wait to see A.Kostitsyn notch 30/30 next year. He's been destroyed by the management. He's the Alex Smith of the NHL. I'm so pissed about how they ruined him.

I liked how they gave Andrei/Sergei some time on the same line like... 10 games? worked well for 3/4 of them but then they slumped for two or three games. Never seen together again. Stupid.

Don't insinuate cunneyworth knows his **** please. He might be the least creative coach in the history of all sports. Gauthier doesn't care about quebeckers. Cunneyworth is the one putting him on the first line because he prefers working hard at chasing the puck rather than actually having the damn puck.

But really I don't hate on Timmins that much. That was a big mistake, but our other drafts aren't so bad. Blame the management for mishandling every player.

He gets us about 3 or 4 NHL regulars in every draft, you can't say that about so many teams.
