That would be a fair deal. I love the Sabres, and still can't like the Leafs even though Tim went there.

Geno for Art Ross/MVP was such an easy bet preseason. 30-to-*******-1. Good thing I never ended up putting money on it.
In other news, the nation of Nigeria got its first ever goal today.

Caps, Panthers and Coyotes all with 2 goal leads right now. If those results hold, I believe all of these lock in as first round matchups:
Bruins / Capitals
Rangers / Senators
Panthers / Devils
Coyotes / Blackhawks
And we already know both 4/5 pairings
Predators / Red Wings
Penguins / Flyers

So with the Rangers losing, does that mean the canucks won the presidents trophy? Or would they have to win tonight?

Rangers have 5 more ROW, so New York gets it still if Vancouver loses in regulation.

And if the blues win and Vancouver loses in regulation, st louis gets the #1 seed in the west. Ok I got it now.

That is correct.
Who would you rather face between LA and SJ?
LA/STL would be a tremendously low-scoring series. I kinda hope they don't match up.

I wanted to see LA, but it doesn't matter the way the Blues are playing right now it'll be a quick exit.

I'm excited for the PA series. Nothing quite like watching rivals face-off in playoff hockey.

I'm surprised at your confidence in the Hawks over the red-hot Coyotes and Mike Smith. Is Toews even going to be back to start the series?

Canucks over Kings in 4. I hated the Carter trade way too much to give the Kings any credibility as a decent team.
Blues over Sharks in 7. Halak will go SO-1GA-6GA-SO-5GA-6GA-SO as the all or nothing goalie he is.
Yotes over Hawks in 6. Hot goalie, strong D.
Wings over Preds in 6. Lidstrom and Datsyuk.
Rangers over Sens in 4 on the basis that Lundqvist is a monster.
Caps over Bruins in 6. Ovie will finally do something worthwhile.
Devils over Panthers in 5. Brodeur going all out in possibly his last chance.
Pens over Flyers in 4. Crosby is crazy. So is Malkin. Bryzgalov is an overrated piece of crap. Pronger is dead. Doesn't look good for Philly.
I always have too many series ending in 4 and not enough ending in 7.

The Red Wings better stay out of the damn penalty box against the Preds #1 power play.
In fact, it'd be best if the whole series was played 5 on 5, where the Wings have far fewer problems.

Then thank god it's the playoffs : Refs will stop giving any penalties as usual.

Chicago is far from great and can't hold a lead to save their life. They're far from an inspired pick. But I feels what I feels. Then I blindly pick Nashville, anyway.

I think the Blues will beat the Sharks but We'll lose in the second round, looks like it'll be a team within the division. Should be a nice spanking.
Blues had a combined record of 6-12 against Nashville-Detroit-Chicago and since December we're 3-11 against them.

People picking the Hawks over Yotes isn't exactly going to be a goalie ******** the bed. The last five games against weren't exactly offensive juggernauts. Also, the hawks had a better season in a much more difficult division.
Add to the fact that Toews coming back would be a big boost for the team.
