In all seriousness that was a **** call. The Shaw one is right by the letter of the law, I just hope refs don't start calling things based on severity of an injury. That would leave to diving and staying on the ice to get a Major called on the other team.

They already do call things based on the severity of the injury.

Or in Weber's case, the lack of an injury. He got judged based on result, rather than blatant intent.

Also, is there no rule that if trainers come on the ice you have to leave even if for just a shift?

It seems to happen consistently in the playoffs to us. We run into those hot goalies year after year in the post-season.

That's also partly because of how Nashville plays, though it was taken to a bit of an extreme in this game. They're very efficient on offense and weather the storm on defense by forcing low-percentage shots and having Pekka ******* Rinne in net.
