Very strong team. Excellent group of backs, Ben and Stafford is good at QB, Young is a waste of a spot, pretty solid group of receivers. I like it a lot.

Thin at RB, but the starters are pretty good. Definitely look to pick up another back. Receivers look like a great group, very strong starting 3. Ryan and Orton should be fine at QB.

Scoring? I'd lean towards the 3 RBs but sitting Williams in ppr would suck.

Love the Nicks trade, hate the Gore trade. Turner / Hillis / Best with some depth is better than relying on (and being disappointed by) Gore.

12 team league, quarterbacks score higher in this league (from what I'm told)
I really had no idea how to approach this and there was a big run on quarterbacks early so I waited and took my first qb in the third since 5 or 6 were gone when my first pick came up. What should I try to shore up if I can and at who's expense?
My opponent has:
Romo, MJD, Hillis, Bowe, Garcon, T Gonzalez, M. Bush, Janikowski, Eagles, Umenyiora
|
Tough to say for sure without any idea of the scoring, but having Fred Jackson as your second best RB with nothing after him makes for a very weak RB core. There are not enough roster spots to keep a second TE so drop Keller and add the best FA you can find, preferrably at RB.

Scoring?
Forte is the Bears offense and is an every week start. I'd probably go with DWill and hope for the best. Even if Arizona dominates that game, I can see plenty of dump off work for DWill.

Hey guys, my draft in the DCFFL league went no-where near to plan, my internet kept dropping out, and i ended up with a team that is fairly solid, but i dont like it.
Where and how do you think i can improve?
QB: Matt Schaub
QB: Sam Bradford
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Steven Jackson
RB: Matt Forte
RB: Knowshon Moreno
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Santonio Holmes
WR: Davonne Bess
WR: Michael Crabtree
TE: Dallas Clark
TE: Kellen Winslow
TE: Lance Kendricks
K: Alex Henery
D/ST: Detroit
1PPR.
Thanks guys, +rep for helpfull feedback :p

RBs are stacked. You could definitely get a little help at receiver. Marshall is a good starter, but behind him its pretty weak. TE is also very strong.
Since it is PPR, receivers are important. With that team I'd try to trade Moreno and Clark or Winslow for another receiver. If you can make a deal for a more capable receiver, I'd do it.
Other option is to sit and wait for a receiver to show up on the waiver wire. Always happens, and Holmes should be god enough to hold you over until it does with how solid the rest of the team is.

I've got a trade in mind to land a No1 WR, but it would probably involve losing SJax. Would it be worth it?
Im not a massive fan of Forte, but i think he would be more than good enough as a RB2 in PPR this year.
What do you think?

Forte is a great #2 RB in a PPR league.
Depends on the receiver, but in PPR I wouldn't hesitate to give up Steven Jackson for a true number 1. Esspecially with the kind of depth you have at RB. Moreno is a good #3.

im putting all my chips on Best staying healthy and Helu breaking through. I LOVE my WR's and think Manningham will be a top 10 WR in the league this year with smith gone.

I have Manningham too. I think he's gonna be great. Best and Helu doesn't seem very reliable to bank on though. Best is capable, but Helu is not at all. But theres always runningbacks that come up bigger than expected so it's easy to find one on the waiver wire.

Starting lineup?
Clark's value is probably too low (and upside too high when Peyton returns) to move right now. But people still seem to think Winslow is more than just an average TE so try to shop him.
SJax would be fine in trade, unless you can start 3RBs. It also depends entirely on who the WR1 is you'd be getting in return. At WR the devil is in the details. I'd be fine rolling those 3 RBs and Manningham/Holmes but if you start 3 WRs it's a different story.

Anyone know much about Lance Kendricks? Seems like a nice sleeper at TE if he can become a target for Bradford.

Pretty much said it all yourself.
In other news, it would be really nice if we could get some solid info on this Arian Foster business.

Dude is gonna be a top 10 TE. Sam threw his way 12 times this preseason his #1 target. #2 was Danny Amendola at 9. Lance also had 3 TDs. Get him as ur #2 TE and you'll be happy.
