I believe Lloyd is injured right now, is he not? I thought I read he's been going through tests all week.

He has a groin injury so I think he might be questionable for Sunday.

Tempted to pick up either; Cam Newton or Ladanian Tomlinson (1PPR).

I have Schaub and Bradford at QB, and Foster, Sjax, Forte, Moreno at RB.

Which one should i pick up?

Thanks guise.

Neither. Tomlinson will get phased out, as he did last year after the first month, and I'm a firm believer that Newton's Arizona game was going to be the best he does this season. Schaub and Bradford are both very solid options at QB and I like your RBs too. If Ben Tate is available, I think he's a better pickup then Tomlinson considering you own Foster.

Tate is owned my man D:

I need help at WR really, but there is zero on the waiver wire.

Also, i would be dropping Lance Kendricks for one of the aforementioned players, so i wouldnt be gambling much :D

Yeah, he may or may not go this week, but I doubt he misses any more than 1 game.

Burleson will have a tougher time against Flowers than Calvin but I think he's a solid start if Megatron can't go. Burleson could have easily had a bigger week 1 if he didn't get stopped just before the endzone and dealing with cramps. I do think Pettigrew and Scheffler will have big games with Eric Berry out.

I traded Maclin for Lloyd and Pitt D, actually. The move was driven by my rather poor work in my first ever auction league that lead to 8 players (including 4 WRs) with a week 7 bye, but I do like Lloyd. Hester especially, since this league scores half the TD on returns to the player and 75 yards = 1 point, too.

My question is strictly due to Lloyd's injury status. I'm not loving the idea of starting Collie and Moore is still questionable, too.

The Bears matchup vs. NOLA is a nice one for WRs and it looks like Roy should be out. So I'm thinking Hester / Bennett might be a decent start - possibly better than Collie.

EDIT: I think I just answered my own question between the two Bears WRs. lol
So . . . anybody think Hester, in that format, is a better start than Collie?

I think Tomlinson is a decent pickup in ppr. Greene still has a lot to prove and LDT is good for a solid 6 any given week and can grab you a TD here and there. I like Cam, but I don't see him as a reasonable play w/the other two you have. He isn't likely to be very consistent. Then again, he's free now. If he continues to be excellent, he'll be heavily targeted with claims. He's definitely the higher upside play. Carrying two TEs at this point is silly, unless you have two really good ones. Guys like Dickson / Kendricks / Cook / Moore and more are available week to week, so you shouldn't have a very tough time adding a TE for your bye week or as needed for matchups.

Sure. But it sounds like Calvin will go.

What other options do you have?

Starting Manning back fired =(

I can't go 0-2!

So with my logjam at QB, someone tell me who I should start.

Romo @ SF
Cutler @ NO
Fitzpatrick vs OAK
Manning vs STL

(Manning and Fitzy are FAs)

Should I start Kenny Britt, I got burned not starting him... but I doubt he repeats those numbers... Mike Wallace and Vincent Jackson are starting over him. Please help me! lol

start romo every week, not that hard of a decision.

and I'd stay with Jackson & Wallce, Britt does the big game thing a lot followed by a lot of 3 pt games and such, just play your best players

-

if Nicks is still questionable on Sunday should I play one of Maclin or Henderson or drop Henderson for Nixon and see if he is healthy by Monday if not play Nixon

Would anyone trade Dallas Clark for Fred Jackson or James Starks? I have Gronk too. League is 1 point PPR.

Edit: It's Jackson for Clark.

Devery Henderson is probably a safer play then Dominik Hixon if you ask me. With Colston out, I think Henderson will be the go to in NO, even though Id love to see it be Meachem.

I'm not trusting Maclin until we see him get more involved in the offense. The reports that he lost 20 pounds of muscle in the offseason are really concerning, who knows how long it'll take him to get back to full speed.

In 2 of my leagues, Brees is my starter and Stafford is my backup. Brees is going up against a tough Chicago defense without his number 1 WR and Stafford is going up against the Chiefs. Am I crazy that I'm considering starting Matt over Drew?

So with my logjam at QB, someone tell me who I should start.

Romo @ SF
Cutler @ NO
Fitzpatrick vs OAK
Manning vs STL

(Manning and Fitzy are FAs)

Should I start Kenny Britt, I got burned not starting him... but I doubt he repeats those numbers... Mike Wallace and Vincent Jackson are starting over him. Please help me! lol
Good lawdy . . . why would you choose Manning over any of those guys? Play Romo or Cutler. Romo is probably the best bet b/c SF is awesome against the run so Dallas should be passing all game long.

VJax is a must start against NE this week, same for Wallace every week. I actually have both those guys plus Britt / Smith / Nicks and plan to play Smith if Nicks is out. Britt needs to prove alot still, as his 80 yard TD inflated his stat line. It was also against Jax.

and I'd stay with Jackson & Wallce, Britt does the big game thing a lot followed by a lot of 3 pt games and such, just play your best players

if Nicks is still questionable on Sunday should I play one of Maclin or Henderson or drop Henderson for Nixon and see if he is healthy by Monday if not play Nixon
I wouldn't bother with Hixon. Cruz has seen time and they added Stokely, so I don't think anyone other than Manningham is a sure bet if Nicks is out. I'd play Maclin - go with your best talent.

Edit: It's Jackson for Clark.
If you're getting Jackson, yes. Clark isn't likely to be better than Gronk w/Collins at the helm. RB depth is far more important than TE depth.

Nope. It's a smart play. I doubt Brees puts up a stinker, but Stafford should rip the Chiefs a new one.

ATL secondary still looks pretty bad. I'd give Maclin the nod over Gibson.

That's a pretty interesting one. I might roll the dice on Jacoby, considering how awful the Miami secondary looked against NE.

I like Blount against Minnesota this week. I think they feed him and he goes off.

So, another trade question. I drafted Peyton in this league, so that is hurting me a bit right now. Naturally I want to upgrade at QB. Good thing for me is that both Rapelisberger and Stafford are backups in this league (to Rivers and Vick). What kind of offer should I make considering my roster:

QB(1): Eli Manning
RB(2): Arian Foster, Steven Jackson, Beanie Wells, Mike Tolbert, Fred Jackson, Ben Tate
WR(3): Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Lloyd, Jeremy Maclin, Jordyz Nelsonz, Austin Collie, Homenik Hixon
TE(1): Kellen Winslow
FLEX(1):

So right now I am think of offering Freddie straight up for either and if they want Eli they can have him. I think my depth at RB is really good so I can afford to ship him out. Good idea? Bad Idea? Other ideas?

Also, for bonus repzzz: How do you play my WR situation this week? Injuries are killing me. Right now, here is my plan: Jordyz is locked in as a starter, if Lloyd can't go I play Maclin in his stead. I leave Nicks in unless we get a definitive report and replace him with Hixon if the GTD doesn't go his way. Thoughts?
