i like arrelious benn's potential. he's had 2 weeks in a row with long touchdowns. the one in indy was called back, but it was a bonehead mistake. he's a big play threat.

tennessee has been good against the pass, andre still might not be back. newton is guaranteed a lot of attempts and whatever mistakes he makes will be lost in a big point total. rushing td's are a big plus, as well.

i'm not really on either side of it, but you would certainly have to agree the upgrade to white at receiver is greater than the downgrade from freeman to mccoy. and lloyd's value is at a season high from all of this attention, so what better time to go for a buy low guy with him

edit: complex, i have a claim on palmer in my 16 team league. doubt i get him. i'm hoping it bumps my spot up in the waiver order, and i might grab ronnie brown instead.

What you guys think?

- I know James Starks hasn't really done much this year but he still has been better than Hillis. Murray is playing the Rams and Eagles the next two weeks so I'm hoping he's the legit number one in Dallas and gets 15-20 carries a game, could be big until Blount comes back for me.

- Aaron Hernandez would start for me over Greg Olsen, He had 14 targets last week against Dallas, when healthy he's one of Brady's favorite targets.

- Sam Bradford and Andy Dalton is pretty much a push right now but with Mark Clayton coming back and Brandon Lloyd joining the team I hope it raises Bradfords game a bit, plus he's playing Arizona Week 9, the one week he NEEDS to start for me because Stafford is on a bye.

Obviously it's not a bye week thing or Simpson wouldn't be an option. I'd say go for the highest upside, which is Thomas.

Oakland WRs are tough. I would say DHB is the best pickup of the three, but Moore / Ford are both solid and the run is the primary attack so I'm not sold you can get any more than the occassional (read as: unreliable) start out of them.

Cam is a must start. His "worst game" is still pushing close to 20 points.

I consistently say Winslow is just a guy, but he has a great matchup as the Bears haven't been good vs. TEs. Carolina has based on the numbers, but I'm inclined to think that's an anomoly, as they were pretty well torched by Finley and Graham. Upside = Fred. If you have a bunch of solid guys in the lineup that will get you a nice total, play Fred for the big upside. If you need reliable points, go with Winslow.

Yikes . . . that's a bit of a mess. If you didn't get Murray drop Tolbert for Walter or Moore. Moore has a nice matchup this week. He's due for a TD. Walter should get more targets, but the Tenn D is better than Indy.

Honestly, I can't see the sense in hanging on to Roddy for a name. The guy has done nothing with Julio in the lineup and, with him out and the expectation that he'll beast, he does even less. Freeman is starting to look better each week and is clearly the higher upside QB and Lloyd heads back to the McD offense that sent him to the probowl. I'd take Lloyd / Freeman every time, unless I'm really set at QB and don't need Freeman or McCoy. The Falcons are running well and simply don't need to throw much.

I am going with a steal.

He's been good this year but banged up. I didn't like him prior to the season but everything I saw in preseason work (and early this season, pre-injury) brought me around on him. He's a guy who took a really long time to "get it" but now that he has he'll continue to be good.

I put in a bid in the one league I have QB issues (Freeman) but Shane doubled my bid. lol

He's definitely worth it for any team with one of the late pick QBs that hasn't performed up to snuff - Ryan / Bradford / Freeman (though I still beleive!)

I'd go with Hass. He's been consistently good. Tebow might be a high upside move if you have a bunch of solid players around him, but it's major risk / reward.

Hillis has been a huge disappointment. I'd bail if I could, tbh. He's hurt now and was ineffective before being hurt. I have no idea what Shurmur has done there, but the Oline + Hillis were beastly last year and now somehow they suck. Seems like coaching / scheme to me.

Id go Heath man, simply because he gets consistent targets. Dickson has like 10 targets one week, then 2 the next. Heath should be solid in PPR.

AZ's pass defense sucks against everything except TEs. Jax, on the other hand, is one of the worst vs. TEs. I'd play Dickson. In fact, I am playing Dickson with Gronk on bye and some asshat finally snapped up Olsen the last time I dropped him for someone. :(

Tough call. Rivers hasn't been the all-world stud we're used to and plays a tough pass D. They could be leaning on Mathews/Tolbert this week. Of course, Schaub has no AJ and plays a DST coming off a bye in a divisional matchup. I'd go Schaub, simply because the Titans have a good rush D and will likely focus on Foster.

Also Antonio Brown has just became available, as a Steelers fan i know as soon as Big Ben and Brown get on the same page, it could be a deadly combo. He gets targeted a ton, and is filthy shifty after the catch. Is he worth picking up? + return points which is a bonus.

I have Fitzpatrick on a bye. I'm trying to pick up Palmer or Ponder from the waiver wire. I'm worried Bradford might not be able to go. I'm actually shocked Beck was already on a team.

Rashard Mendenhall vs. Cardinals
Willis McGahee vs. Miami

WR's, I can start three:
Steve Smith vs Redskins
Roddy White vs. Detroit

I wouldn't, Jackie Battle had one good week but Starks is getting the majority of carries in a high-octane offense. Starks is safer for sure.
