"The Carroll County Times' Aaron Wilson reports the Ravens are expected to sign free agent SS Bernard Pollard.

The Ravens are apparently looking for depth at safety with Tom Zbikowski on the non-football illlness list with a skin condition. Extremely poor in coverage, Pollard did manage to lead the Texans with 112 tackles last season"

I think Ben Patrick starts over Beckum. He has shown absolutely nothing to prove himself as a starter. He's marginally better than Boss as a receiver, but there a huge drop off in blocking and that's what we like out of our TE's more.

He is one of two that, in my opinion, deserves to be paid at an elite level. Unless you're a player with the athletic ability of Johnson, or the ability to put up 3 bills any given week like AP, you can probably be replaced pretty easily by most undrafted backs. It sucks to be a RB right now, but it's just an important position. Have average speed, average hands, and learn to block a little, and you can be a start in today's NFL.
