Wow. Just dawned on me how all those guys sucked ass, and while they weren't elite prospects they were pretty good. Devin Thomas suckage might have more to do with he doesn't really have a big passion to improve, because he has alot more talent then any of the others but he was supposed to be a #1 WR and he's a training camp body at KR now on his 3rd or 4th team.
I remember a bunch of Malcolm Kelly vs Limas Sweed debates on here, guess both sides won? Lol.

The Rams look damn smart for taking Donnie Avery over them I guess....even with the knee injury causing him to miss last year, he's done more than any of those guys.
And, of course...Desean....

And he looks really good when he's on the field too. I've always been a big Avery fan, I don't know if he'll ever last but he could be their Mike Wallace if he stays healthy.

I'd give him around 6 for 60 and like 20+ million in guarenteed money.

That's less guaranteed that DeAngelo Williams got. No way Johnson would accept that. DeAngelo's deal is Johnson's floor.

Gore's deal was only so cheap because his joints are held together by silly puddy.

It was just a number that was the first that popped in my head. I know he'd get around 30-50 million.
Wow, that first sentence is ugly lol.

This is so overblown.
Frank Gore has missed as many games IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER as DeAngelo Williams missed last season alone.

Here's a fun snippet from earlier an article earlier today...
Quote:
Running Back A is 28-years-and-three-months old. He has led his team in rushing all six of his NFL seasons. On 1,371 career rushing attempts, he has gained 6,414 yards (4.7 average) and 35 touchdowns. He has caught 270 passes for 2,283 yards and nine touchdowns. In six years, he has missed 10 games, including five last season.
Running Back B is three weeks older than Running Back A. He has led his team in rushing once in five seasons. On 841 career rushing attempts, he has gained 4,211 yards (5.0 average) and 31 TDs with 118 receptions passes for 922 yards. In five seasons, he has missed 16 games, including 10 games last year.

i've never gotten the frank gore thing. he had one elite year. he's been slightly above average ever since. ok, fine, he had a good average in '09. for a board that abuses andre johnson for not scoring...
meh. i may still just hate him because he's been personally responsible for nearly every fantasy loss i've ever had.

so he's led HIS TEAM in rushing yards more times than a guy who's actually played on the same team as another running back? well that's impressive.
christ, and the ludicrous stat-mangling thing about the ages... what a terrible 'snippet'.

You guys truly are insane.
This isn't being a homer. Frank Gore is an amazing RB who's been playing for an utterly horrid team.

I've never bought into Frank Gore. Yea he's a good RB but he's not as great as some ppl make him out to be imo.

I question, truly, if you've watched an entire 49ers game in the last 5 seasons.
