**** that, we need Coughlin to call up spags once we're free from Fewell and tell him to come be his DC until he retires and then give Spags the HC gig. Killdrive can stay if he's cool with that and if not we just let Eli pick his own OC since Eli's going to be running the offense anyway.

The issue was communication. What Fewell was teaching was not getting communicated properly at all. Hence game after game break down after breakdown. This happened in every play off game as well and the super bowl. The left side of the field got the call, and the right side didn't, hence Wes Welker wide open in the super bowl.

So the personnel wasn't as bad as guys roaming around wide open. It was communication, and having coached, that issue is unacceptable! At least get the god damn call echoed correctly! That's pretty much step 1! If you see that happening again and again, than that's a MAJOR issue! That's one major reason I loathed that fool.

Fix the communication and your side of the ball.
It's the same thing that happened to the offense the season before when Gilbride was trying to teach street free agents his option routes during the season and they couldn't figure it out. When you're going for stupidly complicated you need guys who've been learning it for a while and have experience. When you're throwing some newbie in each week of course there's going to be colossal fuckups. Not that I think his schemes are a good idea, but they're certainly exacerbated when there's a lot of turnover, and without that I don't think they'd have been embarassingly bad enough to force Fewell to try something that might actually work.

They giants aren't going to qualify for the playoffs when their late season surge falls just short because Fewelll gets cute in the final game of the season? Either that or Brandon Jacobs is going to shoot himself in the leg, which actually wouldn't be the worst thing in the world cause fortunately we don't have anyone as tarded as Plax that we rely on as heavily as we did on plax.

Giant won the Super Bowl and thus the right to turn every single thread into a thread about their world dominance. Just ask Packers fans.

He wasn't completely horrible for us last year. I wouldn't have minded bringing him back on the cheap. Adequate rotational piece.

I mean...yeah, I'm ok with this. Even though I was mainly just trollin'. Like Boxxxy.

But I'd like to think we're not as bad as packers fans were. But maybe we are.

Anywho, who are some of the top FA's still out there? Seems like most of the bigger names have gotten scooped up

Patriots close to signing Tony Fiametta (sp). Obviously, we're super bowl bound.

You know that means you'll pay at least 3 of them too much just to up the average age of your roster a bit more, right?

A few of them could be useful in limited roles

Wouldn't mind Roth or Lawson as rotational OLBs

I wouldn't totally hate the Bears looking at Rachal or Brown as depth/competition on the o-line.

I'd take Franklin as a rotational guy in KC, but I wouldn't be that excited about it.

Marcus McNeill (even Demetrius Bell) is still unsigned right? I can still hold out false hope Atlanta stops being retardly content with Sam Baker, right?

I don't believe either of them signed anywhere. I didn't notice them on the list I was looking at when I made the list up above.

Also, on McNeil...the Chargers didn't cut him because he sucks. They cut him because he's a serious neck injury liability.

So was Kelvin Hayden. We signed him. WE'VE GOT ENOUGH MONEY FOR MCNEILL. You've seen Sam Baker. I'd take McNeill with a broken neck over him.
