I didnt even know that. Still, there is 0 chance of it happening. Maybe if you trade up though.

This whole "Kuechly to the Chiefs" thing is picking up steam. Not sure I'd love the pick even though I LOVE Kuechly, I'd just rather have Poe or DeCastro.

He's either gonna be a Hawk, Chief, Texan, Jet, Charger or he'll free fall in the draft. So I'm hoping all 5 teams pass on him so we can either move up and take him or he can fall to us.

You can bet the Ravens look at him very, very hard at 29. We have a big need at ILB and he'd most likely be the BPA at the pick if he makes it there.

He'd definitely be the BPA. He should be going top 10. I'd like the Bills to take him to make their defense AMAZING but i dont think its gonna happen.

Yeah, there is not a snowball's chance in hell of that happening. If the Giants want him, a trade up is absolutely required.

If someone like Courtney Upshaw happened to be there at 29 I think it'd be a pretty tough decision for Ozzie. He loves him some Bama players, but Kuechly is going to be an absolute stud. I think he's more Jon Beason then James Laurinitis, for what it's worth.

I was thinking about the Ravens as well. But do they pull a Ted Thompson on Ray Lewis?
I don't think they do that. I'm sure they'll talk about it but they wouldn't do that to Ray Ray.

I forgot that the Ravens only play with one linebacker. Certainly there's no way that Kuechly could prove useful on the field anywhere except exactly where Ray is playing....no way.

I'm sure Ray would be quite alright with the idea of getting to tutor his heir for a year or two before he calls it quits. We just re-signed Jameel McClain, but he could probably rotate in at OLB on first and second downs if we drafted Luke, giving way to Kindle or Kruger in passing situations. I actually like that idea quite a bit...Kuechly to the Ravens!

I echo what BB said.
You're getting your hopes up BBD but there is absolutely 0% chance of it happening. When an elite player is available at #15, #20, #25 or #29. You take him.
The Ravens have a need for an ILB as well. Passing on Kuechly would be the stupidest thing they ever did. Not that he's gonna get that far.

Hell it wouldn't surprise me one bit if BB decided to pick him at 31 if he was there. He's a better version of Jerod Mayo who he dropped 50 mil on and drafted at 10th overall. We have Mayo and Spikes, but you can always find a way to fit a guy like Kuech in there, and he would unquestionably be BPA at that point. I think if the Giants want Kuechly they'll have to trade up.

We're just trying to save you from the inevitable disappointment you would suffer when he doesn't even fall within half a round of the Giants pick.

I have my own little big board at 32. Currently, the list goes:
1. Luke Keuchly
2. Stephen Hill
3. Kendall Wright
4. Coby Fleener
5. Whitney Mercilus
6. Mike Adams
7. Vinny Curry
In that order. One of those 7 will be there.

Fleener grew on me after that 4.5 Pro Day. I'm fine with Fleener at 32.
Whitney Mercilus is really growing on me too. With Osi and Kiwi coming off the books after this year, we need another pass rusher.

Courtney Upshaw is awful and i feel sorry for whoever drafts him. If it's us, i'm shooting myself.

I'd welcome him back if we lost Sopo for any length of time and the young guys weren't able to step up.

Upshaw in my eyes will be a good run stuffing SAMbacker but that's about it.

Upshaw was excellent in college; he plays with a great deal of power and is a quality run defender who can pressure the QB. My questions are in regards to his coverage ability in the NFL; can he really play outside linebacker in a 3-4 at 6'1" and running a 4.8? I still project him as someone who can record eight sacks a year with strong run defense.

Lamarr Woodley. Book it. That's who Courtney Upshaw is in the NFL. You put him opposite a stud pass rusher, he's going to set the edge insanely well and give you 6-8 sacks per season and consistent pressure. I wouldn't want to see him in every scheme, especially those that require alot of coverage from their strong side backer, and I wouldn't want to see him as a primary pass rusher, but he's an excellent complimentary piece who deserves to go between 16-20 on Draft Day.
