Looks like the Titans are on the verge of signing Shonn Greene. Haven't paid any attention to him recently, but we need a backup RB pretty badly.

Jamie Harper was such a waste of a draft pick

Need a running game period. That 2 ypc just wasn't making it. Some added interior blocking should help too.

They already have Wes Welker's darker brother, and he's really good. Would be a waste.
Other news: Bears released Matt Toeaiana, like anyone cares.

Yeah, Shonne Green should help that quite a bit.

Greene is a good compliment to C2Kondemhoes...just make sure Greene isn't your primary back. Terrible hands, lousy blocker, hardly gives you a good run burst....refuses to take advantage of holes he sees and will take his 3 yards and that's that. Good goal line back though....I think he will fit better in TEN as he won't be a primary back under them.

Yes. Flacco was worth it. Also, he's a franchise QB and a very good one.
Browns overpaid for Kruegar. He struggled in the abscence of Terrell Suggs. He performed very well down the stretch and into the post season. But He's going to a defense not nearly as good as Baltimores.

if flacco takes their team to the playoffs this year then maybe i'll agree

@Bearfan, he gets injured about every 4 times he touches the ball.

It was sort of in the context of beefing up the interior line and he does run harder than Chris Johnson.

He has fumbling issues, just hope Levitre or whoever has great reaction time.
Dude's tough as hell though....took big blows to the head and got back in the game(Which probably makes no sense with the Jets medical staff but alas).

Third round is still early for a starting RB, imo. He's only going to be ok as a complimentary guy. That's a late round pick.

Donald Thomas to the Colts 4 years / 14 million. Why can't the Bears sign two guys like this instead of one goddamned Jermon Bushrod?

Understood. I'm just having some fun ripping on him. Mostly because he's turrible. For a good lol, read through the player notes on roto.
He is sure to upgrade that 2ypc. It's just that it'll only be to a 3ypc. However, if we consider it in terms of percentages he'll be great, providing a 50% gain!

If he was going to, I would think teams would have already signed him at this point.

I like bringing in Lawson. Outside of Bryan Scott, who will not be relied on to start, our linebacking core is basically a bunch of 3rd day picks with no more than two years in the league. Much like the wide receiver position, I'm hoping for better talent in the draft, but we need to add a lot and we could do a lot worse.
