George Farmer, the number one WR recruit in the country was supposed to be red shirted this year. They have been working him in a Percy Harvin hybrid type position and he will be playing tonight. Very talented.

Poor offensive line play, but Kalil is so good.

The Cal front 7 is playing very well so far. Offense needs to hold on to the damn ball though.

Lee and Woods are going to give DC's nightmares for the next year or 2.

I really like both of these Cal receivers a lot. Keenan Allen looks like he could be a very good prospect in a few years if Cal cand find a quarterback who can get the ball to him.

Seriously, they are thinking of putting Boise State in the Big East? I nearly fell out of my seat when I heard this.
I have no motivation to watch this sport anymore.

Jesse Palmer is the worst game announcer I have ever heard! He just makes random false facts up at will. Ugh

If Cal had a competent coach/QB, then they would've won this game. The defense was FANTASTIC, constantly stuffing USC, but my god, Maynard, you know that the team in red is the opposite team, right? All three of his INT's were thrown RIGHT to a USC defender. Despite the win, USC's team is very unimpressive. The game was much closer than the 30-9 scoreline suggests. 5 turnovers really killed Cal. Keenan Allen was by far the best player in that game. Robert Woods is a bit overhyped (he's good, but not top-10 pick good --yet), Barkley was underwhelming, and no one on defense really stood out.

Off games happen. That was the only off game Woods has ever had. He's a frickin sophomore for God sakes!
In fact, if Barkley would have been more accurate on one or 2 more passes Woods would have easily looked like the superstar he is.

Something random: All of Oklahoma games so far have been night games except OU/Texas. That's pretty unusual.
Is it sad when you're more excited for games other than your favorite teams? Or is that just the Kansas effect? They shouldn't have fired Mangino.
