Doug Marrone agrees to Coach the Buffalo Bills NFLN reports. I don't watch much Syracuse football. What are your thoughts?

Unless Philly gives him more personnel control I say he goes to Cleveland.

Has there been any interest in Norv Turner as an OC?
I think a team could do pretty well for itself if it hired him as OC and Lovie as DC.

Jets are only one so far but they still have Tony Sparano as of right now. The arrival of Tom Gamble will change it. Can't wait.

I'd imagine Norv's waiting till all the head coaching vacancies are filled to see what team has the best job for him.

Kelly loves college ball and he loves his Oregon guys. I won't be surprised if he stays with the Ducks.

His resume isn't bad, but everytime I hear the man speak he comes off as an empty windbag. Of course, that's true of 75% of all coaches.

The sexy pick isn't always the right pick. Only time will tell if he's legit.
I do like that he has NFL experience. I'm typically not a fan of college coaches with no NFL experience.

Nassib to Buffalo in the 2nd? Pugh in the third. Those were his two best players at Syracuse. That's all I really know about Syracuse.

From what I've watched of him I'm starting to like Nassib more and more.

I think it would be interesting if Nassib ended up in Buffalo. If Marrone is the guy as is being reported it would be an obvious connection.
I'll be honest - the Bills were my team as a kid in the 90s with Kelly, Smith, Thomas and Reed and than with Flutie. After Flutie got screwed over by Phillips I pretty much cut my ties with them as being "my team". I was excited when Bledsoe ended up their but that yielded mixed results. I thought Trent Edwards was going to be the answer at QB but I think he just got shell-shocked David Carr syndrome under the inept Jauron. I was never really excited about the Gailey hire but I get that Buffalo isn't the most desirable job that a top name would want. Marrone could be interesting and since Marrone has NY roots he might have that extra energy and drive to want to succeed.
With that said it really it tied with how they address the QB position. I think Wilson or Nassib would be good fits in Buffalo.

If Kelly goes back and takes a huge deal that makes it hard for him to leave Oregon he'll have used two years of NFL interviews to build himself a huge reputation. It can all easily still work out that he ends up at Oregon and uses this teams for credibility and money.

Eagles are interviewing Mike McCoy today. I'd say its down to Gus Bradley, Mike McCoy and Chip Kelly, with Chip being a longshot.

If Kelly turns down the NFL again and uses this as a pay day from Oregon, I don't expect him to get HC consideration for a long while.
This is it for him. It's now or never if he really wants it.

Yea - I think he is offending alot of NFL types with the flirtations of moving to the NFL over the past 2 years. Maybe he has one dream job he is waiting to come open or maybe he is just using it as leverage for more money from Oregon - which it sounds like he got.
