At a complete loss for words with the Ryan firing. Rob kept that unit competitive despite injuries.

Maybe Lovie is coming to Dallas. But still, the Cowboys are insanely stupid and it starts with Jerry.

Wow! What a joke Jerry Jones has made the Cowboys organization. Firing Rob Ryan? His defense was very good. Not their fault Romo sucks.

Just saw that he was fired. LOL, I don't really know what else to say. That move trumps the Heckert firing as the dumbest of the offseason.

Rob doesn't sound concerned

Rob Ryan confirms he's fired. "I'll be out of work for like 5 minutes," he said.

No for real, the guy must have something that is turning GM's/owners away. I know some things surfaced about him last season about him being a little bit of a dick but I really wish he would get an interview in Philly...love what he's done with the D in Cincy.
|
I've read a lot that he's a horrible interview and that his personality doesn't sit well with GMs and owners, and he's developed a pretty solid reputation for it. One of the reasons why he ended up leaving Dallas, as well.

I'm sure he will. Plenty of staffs are about to get put together and I'm sure there's teams that would love to add him. Buffalo perhaps? If he'd do that division.

I'd bet on Ray Horton being targeted to replace Rob Ryan. He's the one Garrett wanted originally and wouldn't require Dallas to switch to a scheme that doesn't fit.

Why would Arizona let him go to Dallas?

Ya, the only way Ray Horton leaves is to be a HC.

Kind of like Yankees fans coming up with those trade ideas where they trade middling Single-A prospect for all-stars. "THEY'LL TOTALLY DO IT TO DUMP HIS SALARY, YOU GUYS!"

That was a real dumb move by the Cowboys to fire Ryan. Romo is the problem.

Marrone is bring his OC from Syracuse: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...or-to-buffalo/
I'll make the obvious Nassib to the Bills comment and compare the Bills to what the Dolphins did last year with bringing in Mike Sherman and than drafting Tannehill.

I think most Head Coaches now have a fine line between confident, arrogant and asshole. No excuse not to give Zimmer a look, especially when his players love playing for him.

I think Zimmer would be good in San Diego - seems like he would be able to light a fire under that underachieving defense and actually challenge Rivers unlike Norv who was way to passive

That was contingent on you not hiring him as your head coach. Judging by recent comments it doesn't look like he's in the lead so not an asinine train of though. Unless you are planning on bringing in a new GM, new head coach, and then forcing them to retain the defensive coordinator?
Dallas fans as a whole might not be bright but it's for certain that 'Zona fans struggle with two piece puzzles if you are the mold.

So how wildly underwhelmed are you? Or has being a Bills fan for this long pretty much lowered your expectations to the point you're just numb to it?
