Your Top 10 OL Prospects?
I'm interested to see how these lists differ. Seems to be a nice class at the top, but gets very murky in the 6-10 range.
1) Matt Kalil
2) Jonathan Martin
3) David DeCastro
4) Peter Konz
5) Riley Reiff
6) Michael Brewster
7) DJ Fluker
8) Kelechi Osemele
9) Mike Adams
10) Cordy Glenn

I'd also like to say I'm surprised at how high people have Michael Brewster on here. I'm probably going to be slapping him with a third-round grade when it's all said and done barring something unforeseen. Doesn't consistently finish blocks or show a mean streak and he's an awful shotgun snapper.

Another note: I don't think Peter Konz or Ricky Wagner will declare for the draft. D.J. Fluker and Barrett Jones should return for another year as well.

Ricky Wagner should stay put. He's a solid player at left tackle for the Badgers but not nearly as good as Carimi and another year of starting would do him wonders.

Personally he reminds me of Wisniewski last year. Doesn't have the raw power to get DTs on skates one on one but he's a good pass blocker, good open field blocker and rarely outright misses blocks.
As for shotgun snaps, that's easily teachable; the same was said of Pouncey last year and I believe he's been fine with Miami (haven't seen them play though).

Wisniewski was much more stout and aggressive than Brewster is. Brewster is more of a wall-off blocker, whereas Wisniewski had a killer instinct and wanted to drive opponents into the dirt.
I'm always hesitant to make evaluations based on expected changes; if it is so easy to teach shotgun snapping technique, why hasn't Brewster learned how to snap properly yet? The most accurate way of making future predictions is based on what you've seen in the past, not projections of what someone could possibly do.

This all kind of ties into the reason I made the thread. A lot of these guys are iffy to declare, and the senior class is pretty thin at the top. Brewster is 6th for me here, but only because I can't say I like my 7-10 much more.

Think Levy Adcock of Oklahoma st. belongs somewhere in that second 5.

Wow top 10.... As of now, I'd go:
1. Matt Kalil - OT
2. David DeCastro - OG
3. Peter Konz- C
4. Riley Reiff - OT
5. Jonathan Martin - OT
6. Kelechi Osemele - OG/OT
7. Mike Adams - OT
8. Barrett Jones - OG/OT
9. Zebrie Sanders - OT
10. Mike Brewster - OC
Really tempted to put Martin a lot lower. Could not make a top 10 without Brewster, I think he has too much potential as a franchise OC.

Is it possible for Peter Konz to fall into the 2nd round?

guys of the interior OL don't seem to be higher picks so it's very possible for him to slide to the top of round, if he does come out

he was a fine shotgun snapper until this season oddly enough. blocked like a beast today against Michigan as well, great game for Brewster.

3-Mike Adams
4-Riley Reiff
5-Jonathan Martin
6-Peter Konz
7-Cordy Glenn
8-Mike Brewster

Here's mine. I will preface it by saying that I've got a lot more scouting to do on everyone as I haven't watched nearly as many games as I normally do due to my job.
1. Matt Kalil
2. David DeCastro
3a. Jonathan Martin
3b. Riley Reiff
3c. Mike Adams(these three I've got to watch the most to separate them)
6. Peter Konz
7. Kevin Zeitler
8. Kelechi Osemele
9. Zebrie Sanders(really coming around on him, was really low on him for a long time)
10. Michael Brewster
DJ Fluker would be on the list towards the bottom(probably 7 or 8), but I don't think he comes out, same goes for Barrett Jones. Cordy Glenn was also given consideration for that 10th spot.

Agreed, wouldn't have a season ago but he seems to have taken a huge step back. I think he may still be successful at the next level and will probably go late 2nd round area to a team in desperate need of a center.

He has an outstanding list. Any list without Kevin Zeitler is off. He abused PSU's defensive tackles yesterday. Devon Still and Jordan Hill ran roughshod over the Big 10 this year. Still's had the flu going back prior to the OSU game and isn't near 100pct. But, an outstanding game from that Wisconsin ol. Alabama even had trouble with them. Wasn't able to run the ball until the 4th quarter because PSU's defense was on the field the whole game. I like Rieff and DeCastro over Martin. Konz is a stud. Mike Adams looks like a NFL LT. Watched Osemele against Okie St he looked good. L Adcock played well too. Agree with poster who thinks he should be in there. Bedlam should give a good read on some prospects. Have never seen McCants not sure about him.
If Brewster's snapping is an aberration he's a good prospect. If you think it's serious, you have to downgrade him.
I'm not crazy about those 350lb maulers. But, some teams like them. Pats prefer taller, sleeker olinemen who can move a little. So, I watch those types of players closer. But, Cordy Glenn will have a high grade for some teams.

You've got Brewster on there twice, at 2 and 10.
