Bryce Brown, RB, Tennessee/K State
So the big question is, do you even touch this kid????
According to this, he's already left K State and plans on entering the draft this year.
http://www.lostlettermen.com/10-5-20...sas-state-nfl/
I'm wondering if he shows up at the combine/Pro day, weighs in at 6' 220 and runs a 4.3/4.4, do you consider this kid, or do you still not touch him reguardless because you think he's a nutcase?

He's not gonna run fast ever.
He's pretty much given up football.
He's spotted in Knoxville a lot with his girlfriend.

He ran a 4.4 at Tennessee IIRC. If he trains from now until the draft, i wouldn't be surprised. He's given up on COLLEGE football, he still plans to enter the draft, from MULTIPLE people. I dont know what him spending time with his girlfriend in Tennessee has anything to do with this. He probably trains there or something....

I certainly bring him in for a workout and see about maybe giving him a camp invite if he works out well based on pure intrigue, but it's never a good sign when someone is that checked out. Perhaps the biggest flop in college football the past few years with that entire circus surrounding his recruitment.

It means he's not dedicated to football or any kind of team at all. And no, he's never been a 4.4 guy.

I see a small, unsuccessful stint in the UFL in his future.

He's a bum. And he's the reason I've had to watch Tauren Poole pretend to be a college runningback the past two seasons. Fugg that guy.

Rumors have Chattanooga probably getting a franchise so he would put asses in the seats.

The guy plays football because he can, not because he wants to.
IF he'd never been offered a scholarship out of HS, he would have been just fine IMO never playing again.
Bryce Brown got overhyped because he was from the state of Kansas, the same state that produced HOFers John Riggins/Gale Sayers/Barry Sanders.
He just doesn't care and seems like a head case. And getting a pro check won't change that.

Not only will it not help, it will exacerbate the problem.

He should not be a candidate for a Combine invite.

I've been saying it for a while now, I'd be thrilled if the Titans took him with a 7th round pick. He's got elite talent

He'll make a NFL roster before the season, has the potential to be a starting RB with the right coaching and scheme.

No, no you wouldn't. He hasn't been good in like 4 years now. He doesn't show up for practice and he was overhyped coming out because of his brother. I wouldn't waste an interview.

Actually I would. I'm from Kansas and watched him play in high school. He's worth the shot of a 7th round pick
