My high school church league team could have beaten the Bobcat so that isn't saying anything.

Want to know what everyone thinks of Dion Waiters. Didn't know much about him but watched some film on him and the more I watched, the more I liked. His game kind of reminds me of that of Dwayne Wade and I think he could be a big riser. Any chance you think he could climb into the Top 5, possibly to Cleveland at #4?

No way Waiters rises that high. He'll be picked somewhere in the teens. I don't really see the comparison to Dwyane Wade. He's a better defender than Wade, but he doesn't have his shot-blocking ability.

had a brainfart and forgot the Hornets played in the West. I guess that team still wouldn't make the playoffs in the East, so maybe I overestimated Davis' impact...

So in actuality you read a scouting report and watched his highlights on Youtube.

Beal would be a great pick this year. I could handle Barnes if we miss out on Beal and MKG, but Thomas Robinson would be the BPA at #4 in that scenario and we don't need another 6'9" power forward.

I agree a T-Rob selection would be beyond pointless for this team. Moreover, I don't think we necessarily have to get our center this year. We could focus on the wing where there's a bunch of depth. I think MJ could completely go full tard again and snatch Drummond, and either MKG or B2 falls to our laps. I don't think Washington is stupid enough to pass on Beal since they need a shooter along Brick Wall. So say it's MKG we are lucky enough to get. Evan Fournier who seems to be a nice prospect could be the guy at 24. Chris Grant has gone all the way out to France to watch him play personally. His J mechanics need work but that's a commonality among 18-19 year old prospects.
We can snatch a big later - word around the camp fire is that Grant's into Andrew Nicholson of St. Bdodjreiog however the **** it's spelled he can be the 24 selection too, so we'd have a 6'9 unpoished PF and a 6'9 polished PF... Dunno. As far as getting an actual center, we're going to be lottery all over again next June. We're probably going to have legit shots at Noel and Zeller.
MKG + Fournier + KI = _______ ?

MKG is listed at 6'6 do you guys think he could play some SG? Im sure he will eventually grow to 6'7-6'8 judging that he is the youngest player in the draft. But in his first couple years do you think he could play SG?

Defensively he would have no problem defending SGs so I don't see why not, just not gonna help spread the floor as much on offense

true im just nervous about his jump shot. Im hoping he somehow falls to washington he would be perfect to run w/ Wall, his IQ and attitude is perfect for trying to move past the knucklehead era plus he has shown the ability to show up in big games. The bobcats should pick him, if not we can get Beal and he still will help immensely.

I hope the Pistons suck enough next year for Shabazz.
We need some hope for the future, aside from Greg Monroe and maybe Knight.

Anybody want Ronnie Brewer in a trade? I want to trade up for Dion Waiters.
MKG can play good defense too. Fab Melo might be thrown in there for big men, Festus Ezeli can make a niche for himself on the defensive end.

Kidd-Gilchrist has the tools to be an all NBA defender, and really looks like a guy who wouldn't care if he scored 8 points, more important to him is if he shut down his man. Bradley Beal will be a strong team defender. Jeremy Lamb has the tools to be a great NBA defender but needs to get stronger. Kevin Jones is another guy who won't be a lockdown defender but will be a great team defender. Drummond has great potential as a rim protector.

JaMychal Green is a great shot blocker. Robert Sacre and Ricardo Ratliffe defend well in the post. D'Aundray Brown plays good on-ball defense. They'll all probably go in the 2nd though.

My current mock draft:

I do think though that Waiters promise is #8 to Toronto but we'll see.

If Jones could just accept that he isn't a SF he can be a good stretch 4. He measured at a legit 6-11", taller than Anthony Davis, and his weight is respectable, he just needs to realize he's a 4, but he's going lottery no doubt.

Henson wouldn't be that much different from Larry Sanders, Zeller who is a legit 7 footer if he gets stronger will be a solid Center at the least. Leonard could be the pick as well just off physical attributes.

Quincy Miller fell like a rock in your mock. He's a guy that I'm hoping for at 19 for the Magic too. The game comes naturally for him and he's so fluid. Pet cat.

Terrence Jones likely ends up at #7 to Golden State if they don't trade that pick, between him and Sullinger unless Barnes falls.

Henson at least appears to have a sense for the game while Sanders looks like a chicken with its head cut off on the basketball court.

if Nash leaves Marshall could put us in the 5-10 win range and then we can get ****** out of the #1 pick
Telfair - Marshall
Brown - Redd
Dudley - Childress
Frye - Warrick
Gortat - Lopez
my god that's literally a 5 win team without Nash
