Default Eagles Mock Draft- Post Senior Bowl

Eagles trade down from #4 to #10, but pick up an extra 2nd, 4th, and 6th

1. Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama

While I usually hate seeing mocks giving the Eagles an OL, I would not mind trading down for Warmack. He is a super safe product at an ACTUAL position of need for us (tackle isnt). Im especially okay with this because were picking up extra picks to fix our secondary on day 2.

2. Matt Elam, S, Florida

With our first 2nd round pick, the Eagles find their safety of the future. If we pair him up with someone like Jarius Byrd, our safeties may actually be pretty good. Elam, may go a little higher than this pick, but as of today it is a safe assumption to guess that he will be an early 2nd round pick.

2. Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma

Most may not know much about him, but he is a mid 2nd round pick right now and will probably go higher. He has elite coverage skills. Just watch his tape against West Virginia. Hes all over the field. He is the perfect CB if we keep DRC. This now solidifies our secondary. Of course if Trufant is here, we take him.

3. David Quessenberry, OT/OG/C

A senior bowl standout, he proved he can play any position on the line which is exactly what we need. He won one on one battles consistently and played well in game. This is a great value pick.

4. Jordan Hill, DT, Penn State

Hill, a dominant force throughout his college career, had 4.5 sacks and 8.5 TFL this season. He was great against the run, something we need. Our front four would be Graham, Hill, Cox, and Cole. That is very good and will only get better with time.

4. Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech

At 62 he isnt necessarily a huge wide out, but he has good size. He was another standout at the senior bowl. He had a great senior season and followed it up by showing his great route running ability and blocking skills, although he was not targeted during the game. He may move up higher than the 4th round, but for now, this is where he is. He is a good target and could be the new reliable slot receiver, when Avant starts to lose a step.

5. Brian Schwenke, C/OG, California

He was my favorite player at the senior bowl. He had a great week and game. He showed versatility too. He is a great backup for a few years and then can step in for Mathis when he starts lose a step.

6. Mike Taylor, OLB, Wisconsin

A project in the NFL, he is a good tackler and he produces, but he lacks some athletic ability. He has decent size at 62. He could jump right in as a starter though, because his athletic problems, will be lessened by all of the super athletic people around him like Kendrichs, the defensive line, and DRC.

6. Brad Wing, P, LSU

He is my favorite punter. He is a great 6th round pick that can be our punter for 10 years. He has great averages. Its a simple pick.

6. Kyler Reed, TE, Nebraska

Reed was great as a Sophomore, but had a down Junior year. As a senior he was okay, but not back to form. He is a great project. He is a pass catching TE with some speed. As a 6th round pick, you might as well go for potential.

7. Dennis Johnson, RB, Arkansas

Johnson was a fine RB, but would be here for his ST ability. He was a great KR and PR in college, something we desperately need. He would be a worthy 7th round pick.
