Well after having a day to think about it, the defense gave the Giants all they could handle, and they just got the lucky bounce of the ball at the end. It was bound to happen to one of those teams. It happened to the Giants unfortunately. The 1990 loss is still far worse. We weren't even supposed to be here.

Oh, and I still want Kyle Williams back despite the **** up he did the other night. The guy has potential as a receiver. I hope he makes the team. One thing I will say about him is that he does play with a lot of heart and determination and actually wants to make plays. I get a sense of more desire from him than Michael Crabtree.

Agree, as KW10 has great value as a slot WR and kickoff returner. He does care and is the kind of character guy you want on your team. He should only lose his job should they sign/draft a better slot WR/returner.

I want Williams to return as the slot receiver too. Releasing him would be stupid considering the fact that only he and Crabtree are under contract for 2012. What I really want is an explosive playmaking deep threat on the outside. That should be our main focus on offense after hopefully re-signing Snyder and letting Rachal walk.

Williams in the slot fine but I can't believe Harbaugh would ever let him touch a ball that came off another player's foot again...

Depending on who they draft, he'll still get opportunities in mini camps and training camps to prove he can be a productive returner. If they draft someone with more talent or he demonstrates that he's mentally effected by what happened last season, then he won't get many more opportunities come the regular season, which also puts his roster spot in risk. People forget that in between fumbles, he had a 40+ yard kickoff return.
