I am guessing it's the same with the NEW ERA hats, which are FUGLY! I am guessing a lot of people they may be cool, but god I think that's the ugliest hat I ever seen. I can't stand the no bending the brim of the hat. I remember growing up that not bending the brim wasn't a cool thing. Then again the 80s stripped socks were the best.. Man, I miss those!

Biggest change other than Seagals unis are most teams have added a thick half strip on the collar.

Well Phil Knight gives money to the Ducks, so I am guessing even if he has a new idea for a look, the Ducks are the first test subjects, good, bad or otherwise. I never really like the Ducks uniforms. Too busy with so much stuff on it.
Remember the concept designs that were leaked when they were guessing what the uniforms looked like? Some teams had a pretty cool look. I wouldn't mind seeing those. I believe the Giants one was pretty good too.
As for the hats, those are god awful. Wrong era, I guess growing up.. I can remember when my dad and I bought a new hat, and he wore his without bending it. I would take it off his heat and bend it. I can remember people bending it and looping it through the size adjustment strap so that the bend comes out good.
No way, I ever wear a hat without bending it. Like I said it's an age thing, I am guessing your probably in lower 20s or teens.. Am I right?

Wonder if the Seahawks being close by meant that Nike wanted to try the unis first with them.
I like the Seahawks unis and this is not me being a homer(don't like the current unis for the record and hated the lime green ones).
Also, no one cares about the uniforms a couple of years out. OKC couldn't have messed up more their uniform, logo design and team name a couple of years ago(which I loved as a Sonics fan). No one talks about them now.

This makes no sense at all. Please realize that you can easily round the brim of a 59Fifty hat.
And if you think there aren't already numerous 39Thirty "round brim" hats then you need to pay attention.

Yeah it's an age thing. Somebody walking around with a brim cap my age would be laughed at. Just turned 20.

But I was specifically talking about the other ones, based on people posting on this site and our giants BBI board. The hat with the HUGE letters and flat brim. And then we got side tracked to on bending vs not bending.

i don't wear hats, but the one time I really do is at work at a summer camp where I wear it bent, but backwards. idk, not to de-rail this thread with hat styles.
but some of those giants ones are pretty nice

Yeah, I am 30, born in '81, and I'd never wear the hat without bending it. I remember putting rubber bands on the brim to get a good bend.
Scotty,
Yeah the last two caught my eye. I'd wear them! First two, are not my style.

The easiest way to tell people that you're a douche is by wearing a flat brim hat

False. I'm young, and it's still very true. There is no excuse for a flat brim hat, ever.

Consider this notion third-ed by me. "Flat brimmed hat." The very concept is moronic.

And they are douchebags. All of them. If you wear a flat brimmed hat, you are a douchebag. Society at large will view you as a complete and total douchebag.
If you wear a flat brimmed hat, you are basically entering Scumbag Steve territory in terms of douchebagginess.

Admittedly I see a ton of douchers wearing it on campus too, just like I see a ton of douchers with bent brims. You're always going to have people try to follow a trend to impress the ladies (usually unsuccessfully). I hate to sound like a hipster but I was doing it before them damn it!

Refer to my previous post. It's not like I'd wear them to a business meeting or nice restaurant or something.

All people who wear flat brimmed hats are douchebags.
Only some people who wear normal hats are douchebags.
That is the difference.
