Yeah, I know a few who like the Mets and are Giants fans. But in general the two oldest franchises were the Giants and Yanks, so those two pairing usually go together. But I have friends who like Mets and Giants, but a lot are Mets/Jets & Yankees/Giants

I'm a Mets and Giants fan. In the 80's they were the 2 big teams so I think in my age group there are more of us.

My grandparents on my mom's side are hardcore Yankee fans. They used to go on bus trips to see them play back in the 50s and 60s. I don't follow baseball but when they won the World Series most recently, I was at a bar where they were showing the game and called my Grandma who was just ecstatic. That was pretty cool. She's 75 and I hope she gets to see them win a few more times.

The Giants went 10-6 that season though. I'm talking about the Giants going through something like a 4-12 season and the Jets having a 11-5 season or something like that.

The Giants went 6-10 back in Manning's rookie year and despite a 5-1 start I believe the Jets finished 10-6.

The Giants would have to go on quite the **** streak for the Jets to even make it a conversation of who owns that town/stadium from a football perspective.
The Giants have won two Superbowls in the last...what...5 years? The Jets haven't won one since the merger.

Even if they win, the fans roots are already embedded in the area. Yanks and Giants go way back. Jets can win super bowls, but I think the roots are already there. I think the Jets would be the flavor of the year, couple years, but that's the irony, the city will always be a giants and yankees city. I really don't see that ever changing.
You have two very old and respected families owning their teams since a long time. I don't think that ever goes away or over shadowed.

The wife of the Jets cornerback posted a sonogram photo on Twitter that suggests the pair is expecting twins. That would make it 12 kids for Cromartie, with four from his wife, and eight others with seven different women.

He'd have an easier time remembering the name of all the planets (with Pluto) than all his kids much less the 2 coming up to add.

I doubt Cromartie has ever heard of the solar system. Maybe his oldest can teach him. Or his second oldest. Or third. Or fourth.

Even if Cro goes broke he won't stay broke forever. One of his maybe a couple of his kids will make it to the NFL. The Cromarties have freak genetics.

Gaffney is on the block.
Rumor is that Talib is on the block for the Bucs as well. I'd kill to have him on the Skins. Would be a great fit with Morris as his DB coach and Allen (GM) the guy who drafted him.

Just a random thought. So we all know that Luck to the Colts is a given. He could be a very great player or could have his brains turned into mush. Who really do the Colts have on the Oline? That boy is going to get killed.
He might end up with David Carr syndrome. Its not the same like Manning who was coming into a situation with Glenn blocking for him, looking through the whole roster how much help is he getting?
We all know a rookie Qb walking into a developed team will help, but the Colts have no one to help him out, except Wayne.

The whole "David Carr syndrome" thing is a giant load of b.s. The guy had happy feet from the moment he entered the league and, like Gabbert, I doubt having a better line would've/will change anything.

Three step drops. Andrew Luck will learn to love them. Obviously its a rebuilding team but they have a handful of players that I liked as prospects.
Anthony Castonzo, BC
AQ Shipley, Penn State
Ben Ijalana, Villanova
And they also added Satele who has been starter quality thus far.

Something I've been wanting for years now. Now more camera showing the guy on the phone, no more announcing who the pick will be ahead of time......there may actually be some suspense in the draft this year. About god damn time.

Come on getting sacked 70 times might have played a small part.
