Lamar Miller or David Wilson?
Simple.. who do you prefer and why if you'd like.
Please no Doug Martin, or any other RB stuff for that matter. This is just about these 2 backs.

I selected Miller. Just because I feel he has better between the tackle ability and better vision. Obviously the long speed is nice, but it's not like Wilson isn't a home run threat.
Can we get some reasons to go along with these votes?

I selected Miller but tbh i dont like either of them. I'd take, Richardson, Martin and Polk over both of them.

Wow you would take Richardson over them.... and in other news Michael Jordan is retiring to play baseball. Seriously though, Richardson is a top 10 pick. These 2 guys are likely to go late 1/ early 2.

Definitely Lamar Miller. He's a much better runner between the tackles. The fumbles are kind of concerning for Wilson as well.

Miller all day, I dont see the 1st round talent when I see Wilson. Miller can be a big homerun threat at RB and is the type of player worth a 1st round pick.

The gap between Miller and Richardson is smaller than the gap between these two players, IMO.

Agreed.
I honestly can't understand why Miller is as undervalued as he is. He's not nearly as highly thought of as somebody like CJ Spiller, and he's almost just as fast, with about 15 pounds more bulk on him.
I think Miller is going to be a much much better value pick than Trent Richardson, and I'd take him pretty quickly over Wilson.

Wow I'm surprised how one-sided this is though obviously I don't disagree. I always felt Wilson was an athlete who happened to play running back where as Lamar is a pure running back who is also highly athletic. I just think Lamar's running style is perfectly suited for NFL game. He could be special in a one-cut zone run system as long as he can stay healthy.

This.
I've said repeatedly how upset I'll be if the Bengals draft Lamar Miller, I really don't want to play him twice a season. I struggled to come up with a pro comparison for him myself, but somebody in another thread said young Clinton Portis and that's probably not that far off. I think Miller is going to be a terror in the NFL. How many 5'10, 215 pound guys have legit 4.4 speed and an ability to run between the tackles?

I said Lamar Miller would be better than Trent Richardson in another thread so of course Miller over Wilson.

I like Miller, but I think David Wilson gets drafted first and that NFL teams like him more.

I like David Wilson more. We haven't really seen him run inside the tackles as much as Lamar Miller, but I think his potential is much greater. They're both excellent athletes, but Wilson's balance, vision, and relentlessness to go down really excites me. If he can really fine tune his game, I think he'll be the best RB out of this draft class when it's all said and done.

I don't think he runs with nearly as much authority as Williams did when he came into the NFL. Cadillac was a tank. Wilson is a fringe player, he excelled in college around the edges.
I haven't seen enough of Wilson to get a read on his reported fumbling issues. Is it concentration or ball placement?

Wilson always takes things outside. Run between the tackles.

A handful of Wilson's seven fumbles this year have come fighting for extra yards. I appreciate a running back's willingness to try and pick up those extra couple of yards, but not at the expense of ball security.

My guess would be his position. Even despite his talent Richardson is not a lock to go in the top 10 players.
It's all about the pass now.

Agreed. Miller has his flaws, more injuries, he plays soft at times and didn't always break tackles he should have. But, I feel Miller has a better shot to being "the guy" for a team.

I'm not overly high on either and have similar grades/notes on both of them but I expect Wilson to get drafted first as well so I voted him.

I take Miller. Though I'm not real high either player.
I want to compare Miller to 'FAST' Willie Parker. Not sure if he'll be that good, but kinda think they have similar styles. Also about the same size with great speed.

Both are physical speed backs, legit 4.3 guys. The difference among others is I believe Lamar Miller has better run instincts.
But David Wilson is the guy I think works harder off the field in the weight room to improve his game.
For some reason I see Miller battling injury concerns throughout his career, but if he can stay healthy I think he becomes a pro bowler.
There aren't many true burners at the RB position in the NFL, which is part of the reason I see both being uniquely successful.
Jahvid Best and CJ Spiller IMO aren't in Wilson's or Miller's class as runners.
I'm biased towards Wilson, but I'd probably take Miller first.
