7th? This is horseshit. I was expecting a 6th.

Only 15 teams got them so I think you have them all there now Shane! Nice work.

I just read that with these picks the Browns now have 13 picks in the draft which is tied for the most any team has had since the draft went to seven rounds in 1994.

Wow, four? I don't care they're late rounders, that's a lot.

With 13 picks I would be the Browns are gonna do some trading up. No one needs 13 rookies, so moving some mid to late round picks to move up in the middle rounds is likely. Nice asset for a team who is intent on building their roster solely through the draft.

yar, i think the packers have 13 picks as well. moving up would be a possibility if we wanted to get a pass rusher earlier.

And this is why the Raiders could afford to give up picks this year, a 3rd, 4th and 5th all can potentially be starters for us. Look at our recent drafts and all the prospects we've got in those rounds. I'm hoping we can get a quality DE or OLB with the first pick, and also address RB, FS and OL later in the draft.

They could've, but they gave up those picks for Carson Palmer...

You still can't spin the Palmer trade into a positive. Nice try though! :p

Teams are not allowed to trade compensatory picks, so they don't have as much ammo to trade up as you might think.

We'll see this year, you have to like our odds with Palmer and DMC finally playing with one another and hopefully DMC can stay healthy for most the season.

RaiderNation, who do you think the team looks at in the 3rd rd? just looking at the depth chart, seems awful thin at linebacker.

Dennis Allen's scheme is based on attacking from the outside, and is seems logicial we look for a more a pass rushing type SLB similar to Von Miller last year. We already have a good amount of talent on the dline, and getting a pass rushing specialist is what the team will hope to get likely in the 3rd. Right now I'd say prospects like Jonathan Massaquoi, Bruce Irvin and Jake Bequette should be on the board in the late 3rd.

Justifying giving up a 1st and a 2nd because you were getting some compensatory picks is dumb in any way you try to shape that argument.

Sweetness an extra 4th & 5th for the Ravens. Not sure who we got those for. We lost Chris Chester and Landry who got longer deals.
