I know Renji has a basic game he is thinking up. Heck, I am even trying to convince him to have very few roles in it. Make it really intuition based.

Just a suggestion: limiting the number of posts each user could make every day would add another strategic element. Another interesting idea would be incorporating unique roles rather than the usual cop/investigator, hooker/drunk, etc.

I wouldnt be quite so keen on limiting the number of roles, I think you need at least a reasonable amount of them to make the game work, but I would be down either way I guess

It's just that people get bored when they don't feel important and then you have a bunch of inactives.

That's at least part of what I was thinking yes. Also if you dont have people doing things at night, it's harder to deduct anything else. Will see though, am happy either way since I was a townie last game and had a good time

People who get bored because they don't get to be a night role can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. The game is just as fun regardless.

I agree, but telling them to go to hell doesn't solve the inactivity issue.

That's why players who have shown that they can be a nuisance, are barred from future games. Limit the number of players to a certain amount and you can get rid of pesky players.
